UNLESS you have a Tax Exempt ID Number, Elwood’s Auctioneering charges sales tax for all purchases, for out of state buyers and buyers in the state of Maryland. Tax exempt buyers must email their tax certificates to elwoodsauction@gmail.com 2 days prior to the closing of the auction.
Auction bidding opens on FEB 22ND 7:00AM Auction bidding closes on FRIDAY, MARCH 1ST AT 7:00 PM. Any bid placed by a bidder (other than the current winning bidder) in the last two minutes will extend the closing. Starting bid for this auction begins at $2.00.
Pick up hours are SATURDAY MARCH 2ND FROM 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM at 14710 SUGARLAND RD POOLESVILLE MD 20837. If the pickup date needs special scheduling, contact the Auctioneer.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. ALL PURCHASES ON CREDIT CARDS WILL BE CHARGED A BUYERS PREMIUM OF 18%.- If the buyer wants the item shipped the buyer must pay with a credit card, no exceptions. If the buyer pays with cash or check on the pickup date, BUYERS PREMIUM WILL BE 15%. If you plan to pay cash or check please EMAIL elwoodsauction@gmail.com If you do not reach out to us before THE SALE , no credit card refunds to then pay in cash during pickup - but we can set the buyer up as a cash payer for future sales.
NO REFUNDS will be granted should items won at auction fail to be picked up at the designated time and date. Any items left behind after SATURDAY AT 1:00PM with no email/contact will be considered abandoned. INVOICES are processed after the auction closes, IF YOU FAIL TO PICK UP YOUR ITEM ON SATURDAY, 15% buyers premium deal will not be granted to cash or check buyers, credit cards will be processed at the end of the day on SATURDAY.
Maryland Sales tax of 6% will be added to the winning bid price plus the 15% premium.
Bring boxes and packing material for your purchases. Items are sold as is where is.
Elwoods will make all attempts forthright with our descriptions and condition reports. Bidders acknowledge that, unless otherwise specified, items sold at auction are pre-owned.
