Auction Terms & Conditions. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS OR YOU WILL MISS IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
AUCTION PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: Valid Credit Card registered with HiBid for bidding approval.
FEES & TAXES: The following fees will be applied: 18% buyers premium (non-refundable); 3.2% fee for credit card use; 6% state sales tax for PA residents (unless provided with current state sales tax exemption certificate).
METHOD OF PAYMENT: Prospect Auctions will only be using SQUARE.COM for credit card processing for this auction. We accept Visa/MC/Discover, Certified Funds, or Money Order. If full payment is not made within 14 days of invoice date or if the credit card is declined, the winning bidder may assume no ownership. Title only passes when payment clears, otherwise the item(s) are declared abandoned with no further claims to ownership.
There is a 3.54% + $0.30 (per transaction) credit card fee.
PREVIEWS: All previews shall be by appointment only, in Bethlehem, PA. If you wish to preview any items, please email a request that includes the item numbers you wish to preview to prospectauctionsllc@gmail.com. We will contact you to set up an appointment.
RESERVES: Occasionally, some items may be subject to reserve (the confidential minimum price for which an item may be sold). If a lot is offered with reserve, we may implement that reserve by setting the opening bid at the amount of the reserve. The auctioneer is not permitted to make the opening bid on this item. If no opening bid is received, the item will be passed.
PICKUP OF ITEMS: The pickup address will be provided on an individual customer basis. If you are planning to pick up your purchases, please email a request to prospectauctionsllc@gmail.com. We will work with you on scheduling a pickup date/time. Pickup location will be within the Bethlehem, PA U.S. Postal Service area. Schedule your pickup using the ShippingSaint.com link that will be sent (to winners only) via email or text message. All items not picked up within 14 days of the auction close date will be resold or disposed of, and any sale dollar amounts will be kept for storage costs.
SHIPPING OF ITEMS: Shipping is available for most smaller items. Shipping is done in house. Within approximately two weeks after completion of the auction you will receive a second invoice for the shipping of the item. In most cases we will charge the shipping costs to the credit card you have registered with HiBid, unless you have previously notified us that you will be picking up your item(s). On rare occasions shipping may take longer than two weeks, especially around holidays. {Notice: Should the buyer reject shipping charges the item(s) will be considered abandoned, and possession reverts to the auctioneer and/or original seller who may resell said item(s) and retain all proceeds as liquidated damages and costs of removal or disposal}. Bear in mind we are an Auction Company, not a Shipping Company. We try our best to expedite shipping at a reasonable cost, but some items simply require additional care and attention. Therefore, please do not bid if you are not willing to pay additional cost of shipping & handling.
RETURNS: Occasionally items are damaged in shipping. All items shipped from Prospect Auctions will be shipped in the described condition. Should an item arrive damaged we will require photographs of the original package and of the item (showing the damage) before we can issue a refund. Furthermore, we may request the item be returned to us, at our cost. (A prepaid shipping label would be emailed for your use.)
