TERMS OF SALE: Complete Payment Day of Sale. Payment for all items must be made in full on the day of sale with Cash or Cashier's check. Personal or Company checks must be accompanied by a "Valid Bank Letter of Guaranteed Payment". SALES TAX WILL BE COLLECTED UNLESS THE BUYER HAS A VALID MD SALES TAX EXEMPTION FORM AND FILLS OUT THE REQUIRED FORMS. EXPORTERS will pay sales tax on purchases if you take possession of the purchase in the United States. In order not to pay sales tax the following is required: Bill of Lading or Dock Receipt.
This catalog is to be used only as a guide. Please inspect all items before bidding. All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranties expressed or implied. The Auctioneer is acting as an agent only, and is not responsible for the acts of its principal. The purchaser/bidder is responsible for inspecting items before bidding! All sales are final!
*Years on the lots may indicate model year during which they were put in service rather than when manufactured.
*Insurance and removal is the buyer's responsibility.
*Cochran Auctioneers will, at the sole risk of the buyer, assist in loading out non-rolling stock, provided such equipment can be safely lifted by our forklifts.
*Please check invoices for name, address, phone number for accuracy.
*Bidder acknowledges that an auction site is a potentially dangerous place. Flammable, noxious, corrosive and pressurized substances are present, heavy equipment is being operated and electric circuits may be live. Every person at the auction site at any time shall be there at his own risk, with notice of the condition of the premises and the activities thereon and Bidder shall so advise his agents and employees. No person shall have any claim against Auctioneers, their agents, employees, or principals for any injuries sustained, nor for damages to or loss of property which may occur from any cause whatsoever.
*Note: Odometer & hour meters are only as per the meter when viewed-Please view and make your own determination.
REMOVAL:
NO REMOVAL UNTIL PAID IN FULL!!! Items not removed after 30 Days become property of the Auction Company. All items are to be removed by Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. Forklift available after 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3rd until 6:00 p.m. CLOSED SUNDAY, January 4th - NO EXCEPTIONS! OPEN Monday, Jan. 5th thru Friday, Jan. 9th, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EVERYTHING MUST BE REMOVED BY FRIDAY, Jan. 9th, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!!! After this date storage fee will accrue at $10.00 per day per item! Removal shall be at the expense, liability and risk of the purchaser. Purchases can be removed only on presentation of paid bill. Once the bidder is successful on items, the items become the responsibility of the bidder. J.G. COCHRAN AUCTIONEERS AND ASSOCIATES, LTD is not responsible for any loss or damage to any items.
DISCREPANCIES: In account of ANY discrepancies, the auctioneer and the clerk's record keeping will be the FINAL judgment.
TITLE POLICY: There is a $35.00 handling charge per titled vehicle and/or trailer on all titled items. When filling out the title information ---- make sure your name and address are correct at that time. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO CORRECT ANY ASSIGNING MISTAKES! J.G. Cochran Auctioneers & Associates, LTD guarantees good title to titled vehicles unless item is sold as "No Title". If a title cannot be supplied for an item that was sold with a title, the Purchaser is entitled only a refund of the purchase price upon return of item. Any work done on the vehicle before receipt of the title is AT YOUR RISK! ALL TITLES (as settled upon) will be certified mailed AFTER 10 BANKING DAYS!
