Description |
This is round two of the Alice Helmkamp estate from Freistatt, Missouri. This round will take place at our Springfield location. Included in this auction are her vintage clothes, vintage jewelry, linens, vintage toys, children's books, vintage Christmas, primitives and more. In addition, we are adding hundred's of good modern Christmas ornaments and decor. Lastly, there is a large collection of dolls, action figures and toys.
Many of you are waiting for her post cards and paper ephemera. We've been forced to plan a 3rd round as there is so much we don't have time and already have an excessive number of lots in this auction.
As usual, stay tuned for more great auctions. We are starting a farm auction in Purdy, Missouri where the family has lived in the home for over 120 years! I can't wait to go through the closets and cabinets in this place. This auction should take place around New Years. After the farm auction we have a lifetime collection of Mason Jars. Somewhere between 800-1200. If you collect them, or just fancy a few, don't miss this one! In addition, Marty is busy sorting and cataloging a huge comic book collection which I hope to have going by the end of January.
Also, we've stepped up our shelving at our Ozark location in order for us to list more quantity in each auction but also to have an auction running and the next auction being built in the same building. This will allow us to eliminate the Glen Isle location. However, before we do that we need to empty building 2 in Ozark. Most of you have not seen this building. It's very full and it needs to get emptied and be a functional over-flow location in Ozark. We can hold an auction from both buildings and still be able to build a 3rd one at the same time. If all goes as planned. It is way to complicated to have 2 locations and sell out of homes as well. We are slinging merchandise constantly and pick ups become strained because items are not all in one location. By having two buildings in Ozark that are virtually next to each other, we can provide you better service.
I wanted to provide everyone with a link that will take you to a list of our current auctions. Usually there is 1 or 2 but it will always display our current "online live" auctions. That link is:
