Online Auction Only Auction Sale Period: December 15 - February 10, 2024 Bidding opens at 2:00 PM on 12/15/23 & starts ending at 6 PM on February 10, 2024 with possible extensions until a final price is reached. Closing date on or before April 1st, 2024 The bidding will end at 6 PM on February 10, 2024 unless there is a bid in the last 5 minutes before the ending time. If so, the bidding will be extended another 5 minutes and so on until a final price per acre is determined. Soft Close: HiBid also uses a "Soft Close". This means that if an item receives a bid within five minutes of its close, that item will have five additional minutes added to its "Close Time", thereby extending the time bidders have to bid, by five minutes. When no bids are received for five minutes, that item will close. VERY IMPORTANT BIDDING NOTICE: We want to give you notice that bidding in the last few seconds is a very risky tactic. Using the Max Bidding function in the software prior to the end of the auction is the most secure way to ensure your bid is accepted. If you use Max Bidding the computer will place bids for you. The computer will place your bids in a way that it only uses enough money as is necessary to make you the high bidder. Any remaining max bid will only be used when other bids are placed against you. The software will spend your money the same way you do, one bid at a time and just enough to put you in the lead. Bid increments will be $100/acre on a starting bid of $8,000/acre. In the event of a counteroffer, the high bidder will be given the first opportunity to accept any counteroffer.
