You may remember this item from my last auction: Arcadia Auctions #4. Yes, it was in that sale and went pretty cheap! The buyer bought several items, and when he came to pick everything up, he loaded the other items first. When we got to the building in McLean where this is stored, we attempted to load it on his trailer, but we realized that his trailer was not up to holding the other purchases and this Air Hockey table. He decided to just leave it behind and told me I could go ahead and resell it. It is a large beast, I won't lie. But very much worth it if you have the room and the strength and proper equipment to move it. So here it is again - same description below....
This is a unique Air Hockey table that I picked up in a bulk buy. The operator I bought it from told me that it was a European Air Hockey that Merit imported and licensed. The Flyer I have in the pictures above would back that up. As would a google search. If you google it, you will find that apparently these are still being manufactured and sold in other parts of the world - the same exact model!?!
Anyway, I have never even set this up, and I have no idea if it works or not. Other than that the operator told me it did work but needed something, like a filter maybe or something like that. I don't know for sure so buy this assuming that it might not work and might need some kind of tweaking or something. I'm not guaranteeing anything in these auctions, but still I don't want to even give anyone any false expectations.
I have held onto this for a while because it looks like such a cool air hockey table. My air hockey table in my arcade is actually one of the most used games I've got and I've considered replacing it with this one. This one looks cooler than the generic dynamo table I've got, because this one has diagonal angles on each side and a space behind the goal where the puck can travel, just like a real Hockey arena. To be honest, though, the reason I decided not to swap them is because it would just be too much work. It is not fun moving something as big and heavy as either of these tables and I don't want the hassle of swapping them. The older I get, the lazier I get. I'm a little embarrassed to admit it.
So I'm just selling this right out of the warehouse I first moved it into. I'm not even going to move it to the Arcadia Auctions building. So this item will need to be picked up in McLean, IL at my primary warehouse. That is only 5 miles from the Arcadia Auctions building in Atlanta, IL.
I took these pictures a while ago and haven't looked at this thing for a while. I don't see the access door in the pictures so I'm not sure if it has the access door. I will try to remember to go search for it. I know it has all the legs / feet and the overhead light assembly and all the connecting hardware.
