Description |
This is a super nice original, dedicated SNK NEO GEO 4 Slot video arcade game. It has the original 25" monitor (a Wells Gardner 7000 series monitor that has been rebuilt by me this week) with a gorgeous picture.
This has a fully working 4 slot motherboard installed so it will actually allow you to play 4 different cartridges. It has a marquee with room for 4 mini-marquees.
It currently has the four cartridges including the TWO BEST cartridges ever made for Neo Geo - BUST A MOVE and METAL SLUG. You may never need to buy another cart, honestly. But there are close to 200 different titles you can get I think. And there are other good games. I just think earnings wise, these are the two best games they made. Both are extremely fun. The cabinet also has SAMURAI SHOWDOWN and NAM-1975 cartridges installed with the matching mini-marquees.
This is a dedicated cabinet, and it is the shorter version of the neo geo cab, which I think is more desirable.
The cabinet is in excellent condition and has no water damage or other major flaws. The coin slots light up nicely and the coin doors have new keyed alike locks, two nice quarter mechs and an original coin box.
The control panel is in great condition with all new buttons and great working joysticks. The LED numbers on the control panel also work nice and brightly. The bezel is also perfect. Overall, this game is in excellent condition, both functionally and cosmetically.
I know that in the pictures above (and even sometimes in the video), the monitor looks like it isn't displaying correctly. However, that is only because the shutter speed is too fast on my phone camera. So it captures the picture while the monitor is drawing the screen and looks like half the screen is missing. Watch the video included above and you should be able to see that the monitor has a great picture.
The sound is also perfect on this Neo Geo, which sometimes is a problem on neo geo games. All 4 of the carts work perfectly.
Please note: Sometimes in the pictures above (and even sometimes in the video), the monitor looks like it isn't displaying correctly. However, that is only because the shutter speed is too fast on my phone camera. So it captures the picture while the monitor is drawing the screen and looks like half the screen is missing. Usually this is not as bad in videos, so watch the video included above and you should be able to see that the monitor has a great picture (although sometimes it looks funny even in videos). You are just going to have to trust me that, unless I specifically mention it above, the picture is good on this monitor in real life.
