This is one you almost never see - Atari ARABIAN!!! It's a pretty obscure game from the golden era. Typical gorgeous art-covered cabinet like all Ataris from this era. Same style cabinet as Centipede and Kangaroo and maybe some others. But a unique game for sure.
This is a fun game where you climb around and try to pick up letters to spell Arabian (in order if possible) while avoiding bad guys and fighting them when necessary. Has a great retro feel to it.
This one is fully working with a gorgeous, rebuilt monitor (Electrohome G-07 - the workhorse of the industry). The marquee lights up with a new bulb and starter, and the coin slots light with new LED bulbs. The coin doors have new keyed-alike locks, two working quarter coin mechs, and an original atari coin box.
The game is really in quite good condition. The marquee is perfect. The monitor bezel is perfect. The control panel overlay is even perfect as far as I can tell. The cabinet is not perfect. It's nice and presentable, but a little bit rough around the edges. It might have gotten wet on the bottom at some point. But not badly if at all. But it is one of those games that was probably stored in a barn or garage or somewhere that had humidity because around the edges of the sides, you can see just a little roughness. This seems to happen when Atari games are stored in humid areas. It's not bad, and the new T-molding I installed really masks it and the game looks just fine. I'm just giving full disclosure.
This game is certainly good enough to fill in that missing Arabian gap in your classic game collection. I was planning to keep it forever in my Arcadia Unlimited, but I actually bought out a collection that had a MINT Arabian, so I decided I can let this one go. It's nice though.
Please note: Sometimes in the pictures above (and even sometimes in the video), the monitor looks like it isn't displaying correctly. However, that is only because the shutter speed is too fast on my phone camera. So it captures the picture while the monitor is drawing the screen and looks like half the screen is missing. Usually this is not as bad in videos, so watch the video included above and you should be able to see that the monitor has a great picture (although sometimes it looks funny even in videos). You are just going to have to trust me that, unless I specifically mention it above, the picture is good on this monitor in real life.
