ALL PAYMENTS MADE IN HOUSE!! Any invoice that is over $1000 and is being shipped must be paid for in GUARANTEED funds only: wire transfer. South Coast Auction (referred to from here on as SCA) strives to accurately describe all items, however SCA makes no guarantees, representations or warranties, expressed or implied as to the merchantability, correctness, description, age, antiquity, appraised value or condition of the property to be sold at auction. All items are sold “AS-IS, WHERE-IS, and WITH ALL FAULTS” and bidding is tantamount to agreement of these terms. We encourage all bidders to inspect items in-person prior to bidding. The bidder/buyer is solely responsible for determining condition, faults, proper nomenclature/identification of auction merchandise. Please contact our office if you need the address and hours of operation: 800-649-4922.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL! No refunds, no exchanges, no exceptions. Failure to pay for won lots may result in banning from future auctions, as well as a report to the online auction platform as a bad faith bidder and incurring a 25% restocking fee to be paid to the auction house. Invoices are sent from HiBid and are to be considered the unpaid Bill of Sale. All bids will have an added 20% Buyer’s Premium as well as California State Sales Tax of 9.25%. Please factor in those costs when determining your bids. All bills must be paid in full by the listed date on the sale information (generally the Saturday following the close of the auction) and all items must be removed by the dates posted unless otherwise discussed.
Due to the nature of the business, items may be added or deleted from the sale with or without explanation.
Payments: We accept Cash or Major Credit/Debit Cards IN-PERSON. We do not accept checks. For any purchases, especially high value and/or made by out of state customers, SCA reserves the right to require GUARANTEED FUNDS. Guaranteed funds are cash in-person or bank wire transfer only.
Winning Lot Removal Agreement: All merchandise must be removed (loaded out) by the dates posted in the sale information. All merchandise not loaded out on time is left at SCA entirely at the buyer’s own risk for any and all losses due to damage, theft, weather ETC. SCA will, when available, assist load out at the buyer’s own risk and request. SCA will NOT be responsible for any damages to items purchased, personal property or person that occur during load out. We highly recommend bringing your own help and load out materials (cardboard, boxes, tie rope, newspaper/bubble wrap etc), as we have limited personnel and resources and there may be a charge for materials depending on the volume necessary.
Items must be paid for and picked up by the Wednesday following this sale. Outstanding invoices will be considered a voided sale and will return to the auction house for resale. Items paid for but not picked up by the outlined load out date are subject to storage fees up to 30 days. Items paid for and left beyond 30 days without prior arrangement with SCA will be resold at the auctioneer's discretion at a 40% commission rate and all storage fees charged from the proceeds of the sale.
