Live Oak Auctions is honored and excited to present the collection of Texas’s own Edwin Neal, Hollywood Actor, Recipient of the Bronze Star for Valor (Vietnam), and collector of eclectic and exquisite taste. He gained recognition in the entertainment world for his roles in several iconic movies, including his unforgettable portrayal of the Hitchhiker in Tobe Hooper's classic horror film "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" (1974). Inducted into the "Hollywood Horror Hall of Fame" in 1993 alongside Vincent Price, Neal is believed to own one of the world’s largest movie poster collections, some of which are in this auction. Beyond his contributions to cinema, Edwin proudly served in the military, bringing his discipline and dedication to his roles on and off the screen. In recent years, he has become an avid collector of fine art and rare collectibles, showcasing his passion for the arts and the preservation of historical artifacts. This combination of a rich cinematic legacy, military service, and a passion for art make Edwin Neal a true cultural figure of Americana.

Shipping / Pick Up

Delivery:
We do offer delivery. There is a $75 charge for each item delivered under 30 miles. Any item over 30 miles will be a $100 delivery fee. Live Oak cannot deliver an item further than 60 miles from our location without having the details worked out before the end of the current auction.
