Lead Antique Stuart & Peterson S P Cast Iron Bean Pot
Description
Rare, antique (1800's), Stuart & Peterson Co. (S & P), 6 Quart Bean Pot. This pot is marked "'S & P Phil'" & "6 QTS" on the bottom. It does display the gate mark (which identifies it to the 1800's). The pot also has the hand hammered riveted handle (which again is extremely rare on these pots, as the smaller ones 'hooked' into the pot). No cracks or damage (repaired or otherwise) are noted. The pot has not been touched, it is in as-found condition.
