Packaging & Assembly: The Bona Premium Microfiber Mop is neatly packaged in a box when it ships to you. Some assembly is required and illustrated instructions are shown on the box from Bona. The mop pole has an open ring attachment at one end that clips into the mop base and the other end is open to accept the end cap for the mop handle. Be sure to look carefully in the packaging for the mop handle end cap because it is tucked into a cardboard sleeve within the box that contains the mop set. To attach one of the reusable Bona mop pads, it is easiest to lay the mop pad on the floor, face down and press the mop base onto the back of the mop pad. To adjust the height of the mop pole, simply twist the two blue sections of the pole closest to the mop base, lift the telescoping pole and twist again to tighten.
To use the Bona mop for floor cleaning, attach the microfiber cleaning pad and pair the mop with a spray floor cleaner that is appropriate for use on your hard surface floor. Spray the floor cleaner onto the floor in a small area. Using the new Bona flat mop, wipe the sprayed area of flooring with the mop in a push and pull back pattern. Mop with the floor planks or graining if applicable for your floor. Wipe all sprayed cleaning solution before moving on to the next small section of flooring until the floor is completely cleaned.
