Auction Terms & Conditions Please Review All Online Terms Prior To Bidding!
PAYMENTS:
- There is an 13% buyer's premium that is paid on item price and hammer. 3% discount for Cash, check, or Venmo.
- All purchases will be automatically charged at 8 a.m. the day after auction closes with your card on file at HiBid. If you DO NOT wish to pay by credit card, and wish to pay by check or cash, please email us by midnight the day of the auction. Email address is evansvilleauction@yahoo.com. There is a 3% discount by paying with cash/check.
- Payment must be made in full before items are picked up.
- All items are subject to 7% Indiana sales tax. Tax is charged on hammer price and buyer's premium. If you wishing to be exempt from tax, a copy of your Tax Exemption certificate must be emailed to us BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS. Email is evansvilleauction@yahoo.com.
- ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS OR ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE MADE. It is your responsibility to carefully view photos, read descriptions, and come to Preview to inspect items.
- If payment has not been received by the last scheduled pick up day, it will be considered in default. Upon default, the bidder may be blocked from bidding on any future Evansville Estate Emporium auctions. All defaulted items may be offered to the next highest bidder at the discretion of Evansville Estate Emporium.
PICK UP:
-Bidders are responsible for packing, loading, and / or moving all items purchased without assistance from Evansville Estate Emporium. You must bring your own boxes, packing materials, dolly, moving blankets, rope, tools, etc.
-Items are to be picked up on the arranged pick up day (s). If you are not able to pick up on those days/times, you MUST NOTIFY Evansville Estate Emporium ASAP at evansvileauction@yahoo.com or text 8125504799. Alternate pickup times/days are subject to a $25 fee to compensate for our time.
-All items NOT picked up by the last day without any other notification from winning bidder will be considered abandoned and be forfeited back to Evansville Estate Emporium. NO REFUND will be issued.
SHIPPING:
NOT ALL ITEMS CAN BE SHIPPED. NO OVERSIZE, FURNITURE, FRAMED ARTWORK, OR DELICATE SPECIALTY ITEMS will be shipped by Evansville Estate Emporium.
All in-house shipping is done by Evansville Estate Emporium and our staff. We have been shipping items for nearly 20 years and will professionally pack items to the best of our abilities. However, no guarantee will be made on how the item arrives to you. We will only ship items at the Bidder's expense that are small enough to be shipped in a 16 x 14 x 12 box. There is a minimum handling charge of $10 per auction, or $6 per package added to cost of postage.
If you wish to have oversize, delicate, framed art, table lamps, or other items we cannot ship in house, it is the BUYER'S RESPONSIBLITY TO CONTACT AND ARRANGE for packing and shipping with a third party shipper for processing. A $25 delivery fee will be charged for drop offs to the Third Party Shipper to compensate for our time and expenses.
Shipping cost are the sole responsiblity of the Buyer. Shipping and handling charges will be charged upon completion of packing with the credit card on file with HiBid. Please realize shipping rates are higher than they ever have been. We will do our best to keep costs down, but expect to pay a minumun of $15, typically between $15 and $30.
Please allow 7 to 14 days AFTER close of auction for items to be shipped (not arrive). Again, we have no control over how long it take the package to travel once it leaves our hands.

Everything is sold AS IS / WHERE IS with no warranties, respresentations or guarantees expressed or implied. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
We do our best to describe and photograph items. However, we are not perfect. All descriptions are a matter of good faith and are opinion. It is the buyer's responsiblitiy to view all photos, read the descriptions, and attend the Preview to make their own educated decision on the items being offered.
You are bidding on the item in the DESCRIPTION. Occassionally a photograph from another lot mistakenly is transfered to the wrong lot. Please read the description and do not go by the photograph alone. If you notice a discrepency, please let us know at EvansvilleAuction@yahoo.com. In the event of a disagreement, Evansvile Estate Emporium reserves the right to make a decision based on the previous statement to settle any disputes.
In he event of technical difficulties related to server, software, power outages, or any other online-auction related technologies, Evansville Estate Emporium reserves the right to extend bidding, continue bidding, or close the bidding. The software and or auction company will not be held liable.
Evansville Estate Emporium reserves to cancel this auction, remove or edit any items in this auction prior to the closing of the auction. We also have the discretion to modify the date and time, order, or details / photographs for any or no reason at all.
Evansville Estate EMporium reserves the right to bid on behalf of the Buyer and Seller.
