Items begin a soft close on Tuesday, September 5th at 7pm Eastern/6pm Central Time.
Pickup: This auction is located at the Clients' property and therefore, pick up times are concrete as the Clients HAVE to have the property cleaned out by the next week. The pick up time is Thursday, September 7th from 10:00am-4:00pm ONLY (Please bring help to load as we will not be able to assist loading). The pick up for this particular auction is limited and pick up is a priority. If at all possible, PLEASE pick up and avoid shipping requesting shipping. Pick up is on Salem Road in Corinth, MS. A specific address will be provided upon the auction's close.

NONPAYMENT: A public bid with a licensed Auctioneer is a binding contract. In the event of non-payment of items, the bidder shall assume all court costs associated with collection of payment in court. Any debt collection or dispute proceedings will be heard in Alcorn County, MS.
SALES TAX: Mississippi Sales Tax of 7% will be charged on all Lots. The ONLY exception is if we have your Tax Exempt Number on file.
AUCTION ENDING: Soft Close: This auction has a soft close feature, meaning if a bid is placed within the last minute of a lot closing then bidding will be extended an additional 3 minutes. This prevents "sniping". Stagger Close: This auction features a stagger close which means items end in several second increments. Each auction may have a different stagger time amount. larger auctions will have a smaller stagger time to ensure the entire auction ends in a timely manner. An example of a stagger close is this. The auction is set to start ending at 7pm. This does not mean all lots will end at 7pm. If the stagger time is set to 10 seconds then lot 1 will end at 7:00:00pm, lot 2 will end at 7:00:10, lot 3 will end at 7:00:20 and so on until all lots have ended. Note: bidding can extend on a lot if a bid is placed withing the last minutes of the item ending. See the paragraph above to explain the "soft close' feature.
SECOND DISCLAIMER: All items purchased must be picked up and paid for on the specified day and time. No exceptions. LOADING: You must bring all supplies needed for loading. Boxes, packing material, dollies, and help. We will all be very busy on load out day checking off invoices and verifying possession, etc and there will be no one on site to help load items be they small or large. Please come prepared to load your own items. Also, the pick up times are CONCRETE for this Sale
PAYMENT: Your card on file with HiBid will be charged upon completion of the Auction on the night OF the auction. If you wish to pay cash please call (662)554-7304 before the auction's close and let us know. Any declined payments will receive a $25 processing fee. In case of declined payment, CASH only will then be accepted on day of pickup unless you call us to pay by phone beforehand. There is no internet on location at the client's property and we will have no way to run a card. In either case, the $25 processing fee is added. Even if your items are being shipped, you will be charged upon completion of the Auction. If you INTEND to pay CASH on the day of pickup, please notify us before the final day of the auction as we process cards the night of.
SHIPPING: For this auction, only small items will be shipped and that is ONLY with prior authorization. You MUST contact us PRIOR to the auction's close to arrange shipping..This auction is at the client's facility and we have to know ahead of time which items will be shipped. If we are not notified prior, we will have NO access to the items afterwards and the items will be forfeited with no refund as the client will have already been paid. Please make sure to contact us FIRST! It can, and most likely will, take up to 3 weeks to ship. Also,. Shipping has increased dramatically at a rapid rate in the past few months and packing supplies have sky-rocketed. Even small USPS flat rate boxes are now north of 20 bucks. Your payment will be processed on the evening of the auction's close for the invoice amount. Your Lot items will then be packed up when we get the opportunity. We will charge $5 per box for shipping to cover labor and materials. We will contact you with the total after the items have been prepped for shpping. You must have a good number and email on file to arrange shipping. . Again, PLEASE contact us BEFORE bidding if you are going to require shipping in order to receive an ESTIMATE (this will not be the exact amount as too many factors go into shipping costs but it will give you an idea) of your shipping costs. This auction is time sensitive and PICK UP IS PREFERED..
UNCLAIMED ITEMS: ANY ITEMS PAID FOR AND NOT PICKED UP WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED AND FORFEITED.
AGE REQUIREMENT: Bidders must be 18 in order to participate in the Auction.
BIDDER INFORMATION AND SECURITY: All registration information the bidder provides to South Estate Auctions shall be current, complete, and accurate. All bidders are responsible for any bids placed under their bidding numbers and passwords. The security of bidder information is the responsibility of the bidder. Bidders must notify South Estate Auctions if they believe that their bidder number and password have been compromised.
DISCLOSURE: Family members and employess of the auction are allowed to bid. We all, just like you, love to collect and find treasures! Rest assured any family or employees who win items also pay the full amount just like any other customer!
TECHNICAL PROBLEMS: South Estate Auctions is not responsible for any software, bidding platform, or internet connection issues. The auctioneer has the authority to pause, delay, postpone, extend, or remove an auction at any time deemed necessary. In the event of technical issues and the online auction closes prematurely South Estate Auctions will attempt to activate the auction and allow it to continue to be active until the contractual closing. The auctioneer reserves the right to extend the closing date and time in these extenuating circumstances. The bids will continue as they were prior the unexpected closing.
