Lead Nautical Harbor Boat Etching Signed Gene Roberds
Description
An original limited edition etching by listed artist Gene Roberds (American, b 1935). The etching is entitled "Malabar V" and is of a boat that is sitting at a dock. It has extremely fine small details of the dock and of parts of the boat. It is numbered 20/100 and is signed by the artist (in pencil), in the lower right corner. Frame measures 15" x 14.5", Sight 5" x 5.5". Pairs nicely with next lot, by same artist with matching frame and matting. Gene Roberds was born in 1935. In 1961, he earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Illinois. He is a painter and printmaker, who has won many prizes and awards. He taught art at the college level. for over thirty years. In 1955, he began exhibiting his work throughout the United States. He is listed in Who's Who in American Art, Who's Who in Kentucky, Who's Who in American Education, Two Thousand Men of Achievement, and Encyclopedia Internazionale Degli Artisti. He is also a member of The Florida Artists Group (FLAG), which is made up of artists whose work has attained national or state-wide recognition. Roberds' works are in the collections of Barnett Banks (throughout Florida), Prudential Life Insurance (in Chicago, IL), Hart, Shaffner, and Marx (in Chicago, IL), First Union Banks (in Orlando, FL), the City of Orlando, FL, the Fifth District Court of Appeals (in Daytona Beach, FL), Adams Mark Hotel (in Jacksonville, FL), the George Percy Collection (in Gainesville, FL), the Atlantic Center for the Arts, and many others. Books that have his work as a subject include 'Picturing Florida', 'Coast to Coast', and 'Liquid Muse'.

Shipping and Pick up are available IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING PAYMENT, PICK UP & SHIPPING. You can pay thru your bidding platform, auto pay or pay in person if you're picking up locally. Pick up address is at our NEW WAREHOUSE located at 6500 New Venture Gear Drive, East Syracuse, NY 13057 (Service Door about 100 feet to the left of the main entry) SHIPPING: You are responsible for your own shipping, however, for convenience to out of area buyers we will courier your item(s) to the UPS Store in Manlius, NY at no extra charge. STORAGE FEES: All payment for winning bids MUST be made within 24 hours after invoicing unless other arrangements have been agreed to in writing by the bidder and Terri Peters & Associates. Any item(s) remaining unpaid after 5 business days will be placed in storage with a storage fee of $20.00 per day being levied upon the buyer. Those items that remain in storage more than 14 days (paid or unpaid), will be considered forfeited unless other arrangements have been made. The cost of the item and all storage fees are the responsibility of the buyer. After an additional 5 days from forfeiture any remaining unpaid balance will be turned over to a collection’s agency.
