Lead Garton Space Cruiser Child's Pedal Car - 1950s
Description
*** LOCAL PICK-UP or 3rd party shipping only. Lot 14 Auctions will NOT ship this item from our facility ***. A pop culture classic from the early age of space exploration. 1950s Garton Space Cruiser child's pedal car. Control panel decal is present and appears complete. All 3 metal nosecaps are present. Still steers and pedals. All original parts as far as we can tell. There is surface rust, scratches. and dirt, but we do not think the rust goes through the body. While dirty, much of the original paint is still here. Nose - to - tail length: approximately 48" (1.2 meters). Fender - to - fender width: approximately 26" (0.7 meters). Ground - to - steering wheel height 24.5" (0.62 meters). One broken weld point below the control panel. One missing screw where the windscreen and nose meet.
