Autographed Gale Sayers - 1965 NFL Rookie Runningback Record 22 Touchdowns - Chicago Bears Framed Jersey Includes Certificate of Authenticity from Signature Collectibles Custom frame measures approximately 43" x 35" in size and features a jersey which has been hand-signed by Gale Sayers commemorating the still standing NFL Rookie Runningback Touchdown Scoring record. Selected in the first round of the 1965 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, the ?Kansas Comet? made an instant splash on the pro football scene. He scored an astonishing 22 touchdowns (14 rushing, 6 receiving, and 2 on returns) during his first pro season to set a then-NFL record for touchdowns in a season. His TD total that year remains a record for rookies. Gale Sayers played 7 seasons for the Bears. He had 991 carries for 4,956 yards, 112 catches for 1,307 yards and scored 56 touchdowns, along with 131 kick returns for 3,172 yards. He was selected to play in 4 Pro Bowls. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1977.

All descriptions believed accurate but not warrantied.
