General Shipping Policy
No items will be shipped that does not fit in a large flat rate box or something similar. No item(s) will be shipped that the Auction Company deems as fragile. We will deliver those items to the UPS store in Elizabethtown Kentucky and the buyer will deal with them directly regarding packing, shipping, and insurance. UPS Store contact info will be furnished if this applies.
Minimum Total purchase for shipping by will be $10.00 per invoice. Low value purchases will not be shipped without rounding up to $10.00 plus actual postage charge.
Handling fee for onsite residential/business auctions will be $25.00 to retrieve from auction location pack and ship plus actual postage charge.
Handling Fee for Auction Center Auctions at 4691 Old Elizabethtown Road Hodgenville KY 42748 will be $10.00 for packing and ship actual postage charge.
Fee for transport to the UPS store for them to pack and ship $25.00 from residential/business auctions and $15.00 for Auction center auctions.
High Value shipments over $250.00 will be held for 30 days if paid by credit card unless you are a HiBid member more than 1 year AND have a reputation of more than 25. You may expedite shipping by paying by cashier's check mailed to Lewis Auction Company 228 West Dixie, Elizabethtown 42701, or electronic check or wire transfer on request.
Firearms shipments: Under no circumstances will Lewis Auction company ship a firearm other than Black Powder with adult signature required. All other firearm shipments will be handled by Sportsman Rod and Gun 3175 South Dixie Highway Elizabethtown KY There will be a $40.00 handling charge per firearm plus actual postage charges paid to the gun store directly by the buyer and shipped to the FFL of your choice. Phone number 270-737-4867. Lewis Auction Company will receive payment and transport the firearm with your paid invoice to the gun shop and you will deal directly with the gun shop regarding shipping. Your receiving FFL license should be sent to sales@sportsmans-ky.com
Ammunition shipments will be handled by Lewis Auction thru FedEX Only with a ORDM label, adult signature required. The charge packing and delivery to FedEX will be $15.00 per invoice plus actual postage charge.
