This is a rare game in an even rarer cabinet. Lee Travino's FIGHTING GOLF is a game you just don't see anymore. Despite the fact that it is actually a really fun golf game. It just came out at the wrong time, really. The video game business was in a bit of decline in 1988.
This game is in perfect working condition. It has my favorite monitor - the Wells Gardner 19k4600. I rebuilt it, and it has a GREAT picture. Should be very reliable for many years to come.
Anyway, this game was a kit that came out just at the beginning of the JAMMA kit era. And the previous owner decided to install the kit in an ultra-rare Game Plan Inc Enigma 2 game cabinet. I have to admit, I've never even seen a complete, working Enigma 2 in person. Just seen it in pictures.
This game is in decent condition, but a little bit rough. The cabinet is solid, but is made of fiberboard, so anywhere there was a scratch or flaw, the moisture from the air got in and started to swell. So it has kind of a slight rough texture to the outside skin. Looks pretty good overall though.
It looks inside like maybe it got wet at some point, although I don't see any serious water damage. It's pretty clean inside.
The game comes with a new lock/key, new light bulb for the marquee, 2 working quarter coin mechs, original coin box, and original back door.
I know that in the pictures above, the monitor looks like it isn't displaying correctly. However, that is only because the shutter speed is too fast on my phone camera. So it captures the picture while the monitor is drawing the screen and looks like half the screen is missing. Watch the video included above and you will see that the monitor has a great picture.
