Lead Beautiful Symphonion Table Top Music Box & Stand
Description
Wonderful working condition, Symphonion outside crank boxes were manufactured between 1865 and 1870 and originally made in Leipzig Germany. This one is absolutely stunning and exquisitely carved with ornate highly detailed mahogany carvings of colonial figures and cherubs. Comes with a highly detailed carved solid mahogany base. Comes with eight music discs (one is a little bent). Classic Symphonion cherub lithograph interior top. Some past cabinet quality hinge repair. The main cabinet box measures 9.5 inches tall 16.25 inches wide 12.75 inches deep pedestal stand measures 33.25 inches tall with 16 in.² scalloped top, discs are 9.5 inch in diameter. Music is very entrancing and sounds much like a harpsichord. Start bid set at $400. Please ask for assistance before enjoying your concerto!

This is an "Online Only" Auction starting May 10, 2023 - 5 PM and ending May 18, 2023 - 7 PM. A Buyer's Premium of 15% plus 6% sales tax will be added to your invoice at the close of the auction. Items must be picked up at the auction house within a week after the auction, unless other arrangements have been made with the Auction House.
Terms and Conditions of Sale: BY SUBMITTING ANY BID YOU ARE SIGNIFYING ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS of the Chesapeake Auction House. 1. All bidders must register with the Chesapeake Auction House and give full identifications to bid including a valid credit card. 2. Full payment is due on completion of sale. All Sales are Final…. NO EXCEPTIONS! 3. Payment is accepted in the form of Cash, Master Charge, Visa, American Express, or Discover Card. 4. All purchases must be paid in full before any merchandise can be removed from the premises. 5. All items must be removed within one week of the close of the auction, unless prior arrangements have been made with the auction company. Buyers assume responsibility for any/all shipping arrangements. Shipping is available with a shipping and handling fee.
