" This is a business liquidation/retirement auction of a local automotive business & transportation company with several personally owned extras including a rarely seen collectible car.
" All items including motor vehicles and trailers are being sold "As Is, Where Is," With All Faults and without any warranties as to merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder must make their own value determination given all auction constraints prior to bidding. For this sale we have scheduled a preview to allow bidders to see these items and the owner will be available to answer questions that day.
" The Preview will be Tuesday the 9th of May 2023 from 11:00am to 7:00pm, Location: 410 E 11st Jeffersonville Indiana 47130. Please note, not all vehicles and equipment will be onsite until the preview on Tuesday. Owner will be present for the preview and will be glad to answer your questions.
" You must register online and provide information to create a buyer/bidder account. You may have to enter a credit card information to help verify that you're an actual bidder. Your card will not be automatically charged for any items won at this auction.
" Forms of payments accepted include CASH, ACH, Bank to Bank wire transfer and certified checks from major local institutions. Since most of the items in this sale have titles, credit cards cannot be used.
" All payments must be made within twenty-four (24) hours of the auction ending. For those non-local buyers that can't make payments in person the following day, we recommend making an ACH or bank to bank wire transfer early in the morning. Once you have made the payment, email us that it has been made. Once we have your payment, we will send you a paid in full invoice. Contact the auctioneer if you have an issue as we'll try and work with you. Failure to make payments will result in you being banned from bidding in future auctions.
" Indiana sales tax will be collected including all motor vehicles and trailers.
" All titles will be processed through the owner's dealer license. Temporary tags can be issued where applicable. New owner information must be given to complete any required forms. All buyers will have to sign the dealers "as is" form at time of transfer or payment in person.
" The Auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids in any increment he feels is in the best interest of his client the seller. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject the bidding of any person or persons whose conduct, actions, or adverse comments he feels are not in the best interest of the seller.
" Once you have won any lot, you are fully responsible for any loss, damage or theft that may occur. It is recommended that you fully insure those items you purchase immediately.
" This sale of any lot is subject to seller confirmation.
" Buyers premium of 15% applied to the final hammer price to determine the final price minus any applicable tax.
" By signing up for this auction you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions. Further you agree to allow us to contact you for useful auction notices in the future which may include text messages, email or phone calls. Please note, rarely do we call customers, if we do its usually to verify that you indeed were bidding on an item (security check) or to see if you're interested in case the winning bidder doesn't pay on an item you bid on. You can unsubscribe from text or emails at any time, just click the link included in either one at the time you receive one.
" We may from time to time reach out to bidders to verify their accounts and bidding activity. We will attempt to contact you via email, phone call or have Proxibid staff reach out to you directly. In the event you are unavailable for this security check we reserve the right to freeze your bids or remove them entirely. Please make sure your account information is correct and that your phone number is one that you will answer should we need to speak with you.
" The Auction Company nor Seller is responsible for any issues involving the auction platform, third party software or internet connectivity or stability. Do not wait until the last minute to place your maximum bid as it will be too late to assist you if you experience a problem. It is recommended that you bid from a desktop or laptop computer with stable internet connectivity. Cell phones can be used to bid however they are less reliable. Should you be bidding on multiple items at once, screen size will hinder your ability to do so, that's why we recommend Desktop or laptop use.
" Bidding on behalf of someone that has been banned from previous auctions will be grounds for immediate suspension of your bidding privileges and your previous bids may not be recognized under the sole discretion of the auctioneer.
