By Bidding on any Lot in the catalog you are accepting the terms and conditions of this auction.
BIDS LEFT IN THE ABSENTEE CATALOG WILL BE TAKEN TO THE LIVE AUCTION ON 4/1 AND USED TO BID COMPETITIVELY AGAINST THE LIVE CROWD. YOUR BID IS A LEGAL & BINDING AGREEMENT.
No Item shall be removed from the premises without the assistance of Island Auction Company Personnel.
Please do not attempt to remove your items on your own. As (most) items sell they will be gathered by IAC personnel. After your bill is paid IAC Personnel will assist you with obtaining your items and each item will be checked off as it leaves the building to ensure everyone receives the exact items they won. At this time the Loading & Removal of purchased goods will become the sole responsibility of the buyer. Island Auction Co. is not liable for any loss or personal injury that may occur during that process.
All items are sold strictly as is, where is including all faults. It is the bidder's responsibility to determine the exact condition and authenticity of an item. ***THE WINNING BIDDER OF THE SALVAGE RIGHTS TO THE PIRATE SHIP WILL HAVE THE RIGHTS TO SALVAGE, DISMANTLE OR OTHERWISE REMOVE THE PIRATE SHIP WHILE ADHERING TO ALL LOCAL LAWS AND GUIDLINES SET FORTH BY LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES. AFTER FACILITATION OF THE SALE OF THE SALVAGE RIGHTS IAC WILL NOT BE A PART OF THE REMOVAL PROCESS. IT WILL BECOME THE RESPSONSIBILITY OF THE HIGH BIDDER TO WORK WITH THE DARE COUNTY BOARD OF TOURISM AND ANY LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES TO FACILITATE A SAFE, LAWFULL & LEGAL PLAN FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE PIRATE SHIP. THE SHIP DOES NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED IN ITS ENTIRETY. Pick up is done at the responsibility of the buyer. All packing, handling, shipping and delivery services are performed at the sole risk of the buyer. Purchases must be paid for in full prior to pick up.

Furniture Items cannot be shipped by Island Auction Co. Smaller Lots can always be shipped and will incur a Separate shipping charge which will be invoiced to the buyer the following week when items are packed.

Items will be packed and weighed and a seperate invoice will be sent for shipping within 5 Days of the Sale. If you have elected Shipping & have not heard back from the auction Company within 5 Days, pease contact the Shpping Department at (252-489-8227). We will require a second approval for shipping charges and occasionaly our emails get sent to the spam filter.
