If, in violation of these bidder terms and conditions, a bidder issues a stop payment order or initiates a credit card chargeback, such bidder, even if successful, will remain liable for all purchases made at the auction, and will be responsible for all costs and expense, including attorney's fees, incurred by or on behalf of auctioneer and/or seller in challenging the stop payment order or credit card chargeback and in collecting payment. All registrations and bids are considered legal and binding. Bidding: Once you have registered now it's time to bid. Go to view catalog. Click on an item inside the catalog that you wish to bid on. After reading the description you can now bid. Click on the "bid button". You can bid to the next increment or place a max bid. If you choose max bid the computer will bid for you up to your max amount. Preset bidding increments have been set up. As the price of an item increases the bid amount increments will increase. It is not necessary to enter a decimal point and zeros to your bid amount. The computer software will enter them for you. Some items will be sold "times the money". If it's a sold "times the money" item it will look like this "X5". Example: If an item sells for $2 dollars each and it is a X5 lot then the price will be $10. Auction Closing: Our Internet auctions use a "soft close" format. An item will close every 10 seconds after the beginning of an auction. This gives the bidder the opportunity to bid on more than one item. If there is an advance bid inside of 2 minutes to close the bidding, that item will be extended by 2 minutes. This process will continue until there is no more bidding activity. Payment: A 20% (15% for cash or good check) buyer's premium will be added to the final purchase price of each item. Payment is expected on pick up day. We accept most major credit cards, cash or good check. After final Pickup day, the items will be considered abandoned and resold. All monies will be retained by Dan Carter Inc. and any loses will be owed by delinquent buyer. Pick up information: Pick up times are listed in the auction description, as well as the beginning lots of the auction. An appointment must be made to pick up your items. Buyers will be charged for all items purchased whether you pick them up or not. It is your best interest to make an appointment during the scheduled pick up times. Sales Tax: 8% New York State sales tax will be charged on all purchases and buyer's premium. If you are tax exempt, you must sign a resale or farm exempt form. Shipping: No Shipping Available.
