This is what I think is a dedicated, original Sammy USA TROPHY HUNTING: MOOSE & BEAR video arcade game. It is in great physical condition with the only big flaw being the front right bottom corner of the cabinet being busted.
Otherwise, this thing is just about like newl 'The marquee, bezel, control panel, and cabinet are all in excellent condition. This game has the rarer / more expensive Midway Carnevil shotguns instead of the cheaper Sammy shotguns.
Unfortunately, the monitor needs adjusted so that the guns can be detected. The brightness / darkness of the monitor greatly affects the ability of the guns to aim properly. I didn't mess with it much, but couldn't get it adjusted right in the few minutes I had to tinker with it. So it is fully working except that the guns are not being detected
The screen needs to be turned up brighter. The monitor is a Wells Gardner 27" tri-mode monitor (9200) and I believe it has been rebuilt (not 100% certain). It just needs adjusted and turned up. And I think sometimes you need to replace a chip on the chassis to get it brighter. If you google it I think you'll find the way to do it. I've done it before but can't remember the details. But it was something where some chip on the chassis that holds settings gets corrupted, and simply swapping it with a new chip fixed the problem. I think it's a little DIP-8 IC.
Anyway, the board is fully working on this game, and I believe the guns are fully working. It was working when I bought it and I just put it away in my warehouse. But now when I try it, the guns don't seem to work well and like I said, I think it's just a matter of adjustment / brightness.
This game uses the same type of board as the Wing Shooting Champion game that is also listed in this auction, so you could buy this cabinet and that one and swap boards with little effort.
By the way, this game has the original back door in mint condition. Not sure how I failed to get a picture with it.
