This is a pretty nice Atari CENTIPEDE. The cabinet is solid and in pretty nice condition. It isn't perfect, with a little roughness around the edges. But the marquee, bezel, and control panel are all in excellent condition. The artwork on the cabinet is also in great shape.
The game is mostly working with a nice, rebuilt G-07 monitor that has a new flyback transformer as well. The trackball is super smooth and works great. The marquee and coin slot lights are new and look great. The only problem is that there is some odd glitch on the PCB where it doesn't draw the scores right on the screen.
I haven't done any troubleshooting to figure out what is causing this problem. The game is still playable as is...it just looks a bit odd with the scores messed up. But otherwise the sound effects and controls and everything else seems to function normally. There are a bunch of guys out there who work on Centipede PCBs reasonably, or you can probably just buy another PCB pretty cheap on eBay. Or if you want, you could replace the PCB with a 60 in 1 board with all the games turned off except Centipede. It plays identical on the 60 in 1 board.
The cabinet might have gotten wet on the bottom at some point, and maybe other places, as it looks like the wood in the back at the bottom is expanded. There is also maybe a slight ripply texture at the bottom of the cabinet on the sides. The cabinet is still nice and solid, so don't worry about it structurally.
Also, the game has a back door, two coin mechs, and original coin box, and a new lock.
I know in the pictures above, the monitor looks like it isn't displaying right, but that's just because the shutter speed is too fast on my phone camera. So it captures the picture while the monitor is drawing the screen and looks like half the screen is missing. Trust me, or just watch the video above, and you will see that the monitor has a perfect picture.
