This is a pretty rare game these days - Midway REVOLUTION X. This is the more desirable 2 gun version. They also made a 3 gun version, but it was just so gigantic, and the monitor was so huge that it weighed a ton, was too big to go through most doors, and also became a boat anchor when the junk monitor they put in it stopped working.
This has a reliable Hantarex 25" Polo, which is a decent monitor. The monitor is working on this game, as is the sound board. But the main game board is not booting up. I'm not sure why - I did no troubleshooting at all. The gun LEDs light up.
The game cabinet itself looks to be in very good condition. I believe it did get wet on the bottom at some point, because the front veneer is kind of curled up and I'm not sure why else that would happen. But it doesn't seem to have any serious damage otherwise. It is still solid, and from 2 inches upwards, it is in great condition.
The marquee is missing, but this was just a translite behind a piece of clear plexiglass, and they would also brown and turn brittle from the heat of the bulb, so even if it was here, it would probably be in horrible shape and you'd want to get a new one, which is available on eBay for cheap.
The guns look to be in great condition. The coin doors are minty. There are coin mechs and an original cash box included. The original back door is included.
I think this might be the last twin machine gun game that Midway made, and I've heard mixed reviews on it. I also don't know the group Aerosmith well enough to understand the theme. Is that person on the side art part of the band? Or just a model? I thought the band was a bunch of older guys with beards....or am I thinking of a different group? I don't know....I can't name a single Aerosmith song....sorry for my ignorance.
But if you are an Aerosmith fan, surely this game is the holy grail of collecting for the group!?! Like the Kiss pinball for Kiss fans!?!
