This is a decent condition project TARGET TERROR GOLD in an Atari Maximum Force cabinet. The cabinet is nice and solid, with no water damage or other cabinet problems. It is mostly complete - just missing the guns (which are available pretty reasonbly even new from happcontrols.com).
The monitor appears to be working, although we could not get it to sync with our pattern generator (which is not included obviously). It is probably a resolution other than CGA, which is what our pattern generator is. Or perhaps it is a different sync signal. At any rate, it at least powers up and you can see all three colors (blue, green, and red) so the tube is definitely good and the chassis is probably also.
The boards do not boot up, and we are not sure why, but they do appear to be getting power because the cooling fans come on, there's two cooling fans on the motherboard. Could be a hard drive problem or a motherboard problem. Or power supply. Just don't know and don't have much experience working on this game.
I do have experience operating and playing one of these games, though, and I can tell you that it is an OUTSTANDING game (when working). There is a ton of depth, and the feel is just perfect. Some gun games have a feel that just isn't right, but this thing feels great. The graphics are incredible, and the sound effects and music are great. I believe TTG was programmed by the same team that brought us Area 51 and Maximum Force - two other excellent gun games by atari.
The monitor is a Neotec 2515C. I don't have much experience with Neotecs, but I know they were standard in a lot of Atari games from this era. Probably the same monitor that was in Maximum Force.
