This is a decent condition Nintendo DONKEY KONG JR cocktail arcade videogame. It is very restorable and will end up super nice when you're done. The game is fully working, so nothing needed there. Cosmetically, the biggest problem it has is that for some reason it was stored with the top glass off of it, so the top artwork got all mangled and faded and torn, so it looks trashy. That is just paper though, so you can either buy new artwork or just download and print it yourself on a nice color printer.
The cabinet is nice and solid, with very little rust. It should clean up to be near mint. The chrome legs/feet, are near flawless. By the way, the legs can be adjusted on this to be a range of different heights depending on your needs/preferences.
The monitor has a great picture, and the controls work nicely. Also, the sound is great. It is running on all original hardware.
Donkey Kong Jr. is one if the few sequel video games that is actually just as good as the original. It may not be quite as iconic, but as far as play goes, it is a very solid, fun game with the same depth and challenge as the original Donkey Kong. A very good effort by Nintendo. In fact, it is very characteristic of Nintendo even to this day that when they release a game, you can almost take it to the bank that it will be well designed, programmed, and darn fun.
You will not be disappointed with this game. It will be easy to restore it to excellent condition, and you can probably even flip it for a tidy profit with minimal investment and effort.
I know in the pictures above, the monitor looks like it isn't displaying right, but that's just because the shutter speed is too fast on my phone camera. So it captures the picture while the monitor is drawing the screen and looks like half the screen is missing. Trust me, or just watch the video above, and you will see that the monitor has a perfect picture.
