Description |
This is a pretty darn nice Stunt Cycle game. It is not fully working, but shows some real signs of life and potential. The monitor appears to work, but undoubtedly needs a cap kit. The boards are doing SOMETHING, because when you coin it up, it does light up the player one start button, and then the player two start button with another coin. So it's processing and doing some of what it's supposed to. Then when you start a game, the buttons go off, but I'm not sure what's happening because the screen is rolling so bad that you can't really see what's on it.
The cabinet is nice and solid, and in pretty nice condition. It is a little rough around the edges in places, and it may have gotten wet in some places at some point. But not majorly water damaged and no major cabinet damage anywhere.
The bezel is in great condition. The sideart is excellent considering this game is coming up on 50 years old. Remarkable. The control panel is decent, and would probably clean up / restore to near new. The coin door has a little rust in some places but nothing beyond restoration.
Electronically, it is complete and appears close to working. There is either a board or monitor problem. The monitor is lighting up but the picture won't sync, which could be a monitor or a board problem. Either way, there are people out there who service these boards and these monitors. So you should be able to get this working 100%.
This game is truly a Bronze Era classic. Probably one of the most memorable and popular games from the mid 70s, if not THE most memorable. And quite rare these days. Still a good game and a good earner in the right account. Very nostalgic for a barcade environment.
This does have the original back door and even the original lock and key I believe.
