RESTRICTED Firearms Pick-Up Procedure:
1. Upon Successful Winning of a RESTRICTED Firearm or RESTRICTED Lot, Karla's Auction with call you the following day to initiate the transfer, Have your RESTRICTED PAL Ready along with your Gun Club information.
2. The CFO for the jurisdiction receives the request and will review the transfer to make sure that the transferee is acquiring the restricted firearm or prohibited handgun for one of the permitted purposes (Firearms Act, Section 28). This will be done online.
3. The transferee will need to get an Authorization to Transport (ATT) to transport the restricted firearm to its new location. There is no fee for an ATT. Call the CFP at 1-800-731-4000 or submit form RCMP 5490.
4. Both the Karla's Auction and the transferee will receive a confirmation notice to let them know the transfer is complete.
5. Upon receipt of confirmation, Karla's Auction will contact you to make arrangements for pick-up.
IMPORTANT INFO:
1. Purchasers of firearms and ammunition must produce their PAL card before possession will be allowed.
2. NO items are to be removed until a PAID IN FULL Invoice has been presented to Staff.
3. Every gun is sold with a TRIGGER LOCK in place and must NOT be removed until off the Auction yard.

BUYER'S PREMIUM INFO:
***All of Karla's Auctions have a 10% Buyers fee up to $500 per item.
The Buyer's Premium is an additional fee (percentage) on the hammer price of the lot that must be paid by the Winner. It is charged by the Auctioneer to cover Administrative expenses and it goes directly to the Auction house.
***Example: If Bob is the winning bidder on a Table and Chair Set that he bid $100 on, and Buyer's Premium is 10% (10% x $100 = $10.00), Bob would pay $110 for the item, plus any other charges such as GST and/or PST.
***Example: If Bob won a Vehicle for $5,700 and the Buyer's Premium is 10% (10% x $5,700 = $570.00 Buyer's Premium); however, the Buyer's Premium is capped at $500 max. per item/lot so Bob would only pay $500 for the Buyer's Premium and not $570.00, plus any other charges such as GST and/or PST.
PAYMENT:
Payments are Visa and MasterCard with a 3% convenience fee; OR

3. CASH: There is no Cashier on site so if you are paying by cash, please ensure you have the EXACT amount on hand. Thank you!
E-TRANSFERS:
When registering to bid, enter "E-transfer" in the Payment Instructions to pay by e-transfer and avoid a 3% convenience fees on credit card purchases.
CREDIT CARDS:
NOTE: Karla's Auction will not manually enter in a Bidder's Credit Card information into a Bidder's Account.
It is the responsibility of the Bidder to manage the payment options in their Account. If your Credit Card has been declined, please pay your Invoice with other payment options or go into your Account, remove the previous credit card and replace with another, etc.
INSURANCE:
***Insurance on the value of your parcel at a rate of $2.50 per $100, with the first $100 being included in the charge. eg. $900.00 value would cost $20.00 in Insurance.
SHIPPING:
NOTE: We will NOT prepare your items for shipping without a PAID IN FULL Invoice.
**Shipping is available for SMALLER ITEMS ONLY.
1. Shipping: $20 Handling Fee for the first box ($10.00 each additional box) plus actual Postage and Insurance costs.
NOTE: NO SHIPPING at all ON AMMUNITION, PRIMERS or POWDER - PICKUP Only!
2. Karla’s Auction uses Canada Post for Shipping. Items are professionally packaged to arrive intact and are shipped at BUYERS OWN RISK!...
3. Karla's Auction reserves the right to charge a $5 day Storage Fee until winning bids are PICKED UP.
4. Heavy/large items are costly to ship. Consider this important information when placing your bids.
5. The Fees mentioned above are non-negotiable.
6. NON-PAYING bidders will be blocked from future auctions.

Our business depends on the strategic use of our space. In some cases, items are in a rented building and/or a consignor's home. We do not have space to store your winnings.
Please arrive on the posted date during the advertised hours to pick up your lot(s).
All auctions have a specific pick-up date and a per-auction shipping* policy.
Failure to pay, pick up your items or arrange shipping by the last business day of the week (Friday) after the scheduled pick-up day will forfeit your items without a refund.
We do not ship furniture.
Please be aware these are CANADA POST'S guidelines for shipping FRAGILE ITEMS:
"Canada Post shall have no liability for damage of shipments containing fragile items. Canada Post insurance does not cover anything considered fragile. "Fragile Items" means items of an inherently fragile nature such as, but not limited to, glass, framed glass, mirrors, crystal, ceramics, pottery, porcelain and china."
RESTRICTED Firearms Pick-Up Procedure:
1. Upon Successful Winning of a RESTRICTED Firearm or RESTRICTED Lot, Karla's Auction with call you the following day to initiate the transfer, Have your RESTRICTED PAL Ready along with your Gun Club information.
2. The CFO for the jurisdiction receives the request and will review the transfer to make sure that the transferee is acquiring the restricted firearm or prohibited handgun for one of the permitted purposes (Firearms Act, Section 28). This will be done online.
3. The transferee will need to get an Authorization to Transport (ATT) to transport the restricted firearm to its new location. There is no fee for an ATT. Call the CFP at 1-800-731-4000 or submit form RCMP 5490.
4. Both the Karla's Auction and the transferee will receive a confirmation notice to let them know the transfer is complete.
5. Upon receipt of confirmation, Karla's Auction will contact you to make arrangements for pick-up.
IMPORTANT INFO:
1. Purchasers of firearms and ammunition must produce their PAL card before possession will be allowed.
2. NO items are to be removed until a PAID IN FULL Invoice has been presented to Staff.
3. Every gun is sold with a TRIGGER LOCK in place and must NOT be removed until off the Auction yard.
