FIREARMS & AMMUNITION: Moon Auction Group has cataloged the firearms and ammunition in this auction to the best of our abilities. We have used information present on the items, consignor supplied information, and our own research with naming and describing lots. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of these names and descriptions. We make no warranty to the condition of any firearms or lot of ammunition other than those we explicitly describe as “NEW”. By registering, bidders agree that Moon Auction Group will not be held liable for any damages resulting from the use of the firearms, ammunition, or knives presented in this auction. Moon Auction Group advises all bidders that all firearms, and ammunition should be inspected for functionality and safety by a qualified gunsmith or other qualified professional. Bidders also acknowledge that Moon Auction Group is federally licensed firearms dealer and as such all buyers of firearms will need to pass a background check and fill out a BATF 4473 in person at Moon Auction Group’s premise. Only the person whose name is on the account that the bids are placed will be able to pick up firearms and complete the forms. You must bring photo ID to pick up. You must be 21 years of age to purchase all handguns and handgun ammunition. You must be 18 years of age to purchase all long guns, long gun ammunition and black powder firearms. Moon Auction Group will work to attempt to contact back up bidders or resell any firearms that the winning bidders gets a "DENIED" response from the NICS check. But those bidders who are denied will be expected and legally obligated to pay for their firearms in full. Out of state buyers of handguns or other bidders who need firearms shipped need to provide Moon Auction Group with a copy of their preferred FFLs License.
PAYMENT: Payment must be completed by Friday, June 14th, 2024, at 5:00PM EST. Payment may be made by cash, check, or card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Winning bidders who use card to pay will pay an added 3.5% transaction fee. All items must be paid in full before removal. If the invoice has not been paid by Friday, June 14th, 2024, at 5:00PM, your card will automatically be charged the full invoice amount plus the 3.5% transaction fee as well as a convince fee. The card used at registration of the auction will be charged.
PICKUP: Pickup will be held on Monday, June 10th, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST. If you cannot pick up on this date, by this time, please contact Moon Auction Group at 502-735-5206 ASAP following the auction. Winning bidders will receive an invoice following the auction via the email you registered with on HiBid. You must bring photo ID to pick up. You must be 21 years of age to purchase all handguns and handgun ammunition. You must be 18 years of age to purchase all long guns, long gun ammunition and black powder firearms. Any item not removed by Friday, June 14th, 2024, at 5:00 PM will be considered forfeited, ownership will revert to Moon Auction Group and buyer's card will be charged the full invoice amount along with a $25 late fee per item and any costs associated with the disposal of the items. Unless prior agreements have been made in writing between buyer and Moon Auction Group.

All firearms are stored off site so viewings outside of these time frames may not be possible.
SHIPPING: All items are eligible for shipping in this auction. Bidders who need firearms shipped need to provide Moon Auction Group a copy of their preferred FFL’s license within 3 business days of the end of the auction. Buyers who use credit card will receive two invoices for their purchase, one for the items and associated costs, and a later invoice for the cost of shipping. Cost of shipping for firearms will be actual cost of packaging supplies, actual postage cost, and a flat fee of $15 per package for labor. Cost of shipping for all other items will be actual cost of packaging supplies, actual postage cost, and a flat fee of $5 per package for labor. Shipping for mobility scooter and tree stand will be shipped freight.
All items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS”. Each buyer is responsible for conducting his or her own inspections related to the item. All sales are final.
BUYER’S PREMIUM: A 10% Buyers Premium fee will be added to the winning bid of each item to determine the final selling price.
ITEM REMOVAL: Buyers must provide their own labor, tools, packing material, and boxes, if needed for removal of items. Our staff will not be available to help load out the items from this auction. Some items are very heavy and large in size. Please be aware of this while bidding on them. Any item not removed by Friday, June 14th, 2024 at 5:00 PM will be considered forfeited, ownership will revert to Moon Auction Group and buyer's card will be charged full invoice amount along with a $25 late fee per item and any costs associated with the disposal of the items. Unless prior agreements have been made in writing between buyer and Moon Auction Group. MOON AUCTION GROUP IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES OR ACCIDENTS DURING THE PICKUP OF ITEMS.
TAX: Kentucky sales tax is 6%. To be in accordance with the state laws of Kentucky, all invoices will be charged an additional 6% sales tax. If you have a certified resale certification, you must fill out a legal tax exemption form with Moon Auction Group, and you will be exempt from sales tax. Please contact Moon Auction Group to fill out the legal tax form before final payment is made. Any items bought for personal use will not be eligible for tax exemption.
REGISTRATION: Registration is free, and you must register with your full name, email address, telephone number, and address. When you register for your account, you are assigned a unique username and password. You are responsible for bids made on your account. An online bid is a legally binding contract. If you feel your account has been compromised, it is your responsibility to contact Moon Auction Group immediately to suspend your account. Final bids made from your account are not subject to cancellation. Registration may only be completed with an acknowledgment that the bidder has read and understood all terms and conditions for the sale and online bidding.
BIDDING: Do NOT bid if you do not intend to pay. Bidding will start at $5.00 USD.
Fraudulent Bidding: Any bidding found to be fraudulent or negligent will result in legal action.
Closing of Bidding: Bidding will begin to close on Sunday, June 9th, 2024, at 5:00PM EST. The closing of the items will be staggered approximately 30 seconds between lots. Lots will feature a soft closing. Meaning if bids are placed in the last minutes of the auction the bidding time will extend 5 minutes. This allows everyone a fair chance to get another bid in before the item is sold, similar to how a live auction proceeds.
Example: A bidder places a bid on an item with 1 minute and 30 seconds left, bidding will now be extended for 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
Auctioneer’s Right to Bid: With the seller’s permission, Moon Auction Group affiliates and staff reserve the right to bid for themselves, on the behalf of absentee bidders, on the seller’s behalf, except in the case of absolute bidding.
ITEM DISCLAIMER: All items' descriptions are believed to be correct to the best of Moon Auction Group’s knowledge. It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure the information is accurate prior to bidding. Items are being sold on an “AS IS, WHERE IS” basis.
Invoices: Notification of winning bids will be sent via email. You will receive an invoice for your winning items via email. By registering for any auction or bidding on any lot offered by Moon Auction Group, the bidder indicates acceptance of the following Terms of Sale. Any participation in the auction binds you to agreement of these terms whether or not you read or understand said terms. You also agree to Moon Auction Group not liable for ANY damages; monetary, physical or any other resulting from bidder's participation in an auction. You, the bidder, release Moon Auction Group from all liability.
