To help settle the Marilyn Frydendall Estate, the family has chosen to sell the personal property via online auction. Includes, major appliances, stacked book cases, general line of furniture, LARGE collection of S&P shakers and vintage tins as well as china, quilts, linens & many other items.
Bidding Notice: AUCTION bidding opens Friday September 13th @ 8:00 a.m. CST and soft closes Wednesday September 18th @ 8:00 p.m. CST with pickup Friday September 20th 12:30-6:30 p.m. OR Saturday September 21st 2:00-4:00 p.m.CST BY APPOINTMENT ONLY SOFT CLOSE: All of our online auctions have this feature. Soft closing of lots starts with Lot # 1 at specified closing time. Soft Close extends the bidding time for a specific item if a bid is placed in the last minute of the auction. When a bid is placed during the soft close window, the bidding time for "THAT ITEM" is extended to allow other bidders a fair chance to counter-bid. Other "lots" will continue the closing sequence unless there is a last minute bid on that lot. WARNING: Do Not Wait to last minute to register for bidding after auction is close to closing or is already closing, as all NEW bidders to Hollinger Online Auctions must have credit card verified by HiBid.com and then bidder must be approved by Hollinger Auction before system will accept any bids from new bidder. HiBid nor Hollinger Auction will be held responsible for any missed bids due to potential bidder waiting to register after auction is within 30 minutes of starting to close. SHIPPING: Shippable items are so marked. If there are lots that are not marked shippable, but have an item(s) that you want that could be shipped, you can call email Mary to check if would ship just particular items from lot and abandon rest of lot. Large items and furniture as well as lots that contain a lot of glass will not be shipped. Shipping charges are: $5/box used for packing for shipment, plus actual postal charges. PICKUP IS AVAILABLE Friday September 20th from 12:30 p.m-6:30 p.m CST OR Saturday 21st 10:00-2:00 CST at 800 N Humboldt- Ellinwood, KS. Pick-up is BY APPOINMENT ONLY. Please call for availability of other day/times for pick-up BEFORE placing bids. To set up pick-up time, call Jim at 620-257-8148. PICKUP DIRECTIONS: Watch for signs at intersection and in front of the house. Buyer is responsible for bringing own help to assist in loading items, including large items as well as responsible for bringing any dollies or equipment needed to move large items and boxes for packing up smaller items buyer needs for transporting purchased items. Seller will have unhooked items from water, electricity, gas or the property, as needed. If requested making Payment at pick-up, then payment due in exact amount of cash (no change will be given) . NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED. If items have not been picked up within 10 days of the auction close, they will be considered abondoned and become property of Hollinger Auction. By placing bids on our site you authorize Hollinger Auction to charge your card for any winning bids. Any declined cards will incur a $35 fee and may result in suspension of your account. All items are final and sold "AS IS-WHERE IS" with all faults and blemishes and NO warranty expressed or implied. We do our best to describe things accurately, but you as the buyer are the final judge of ALL items in the auction and will hold harmless Hollinger Auction for any errors. Payment Terms
We accept all major credit cards. No personal checks, we also accept cash at pickup. Payment is in USD Dollars. At 7:30 p.m. Friday September 20th, ALL invoices not paid and picked up will be charged to the card on file, including a $10 late fee, unless other arrangments have been made with the auction clerk. If items have not been picked up within 2 days of the auction close, they will be considered abandoned and become property of Hollinger Auction. By placing bids on our site you authorize Hollinger Auction to charge your card for any winning bids. Any declined cards will incur a $35 fee and may result in suspension of your account.
Shipping is available on items that are shippable. Call Mary Cashier/Clerk for assistance at 620-257-8147. Shipping cost is actual postage plus $5.00 /per package used for shipping item(s) and will include Tracking # and insurance. Buyer can request preferred shipping service if has a preference. If there are items in the purchased lot you do not want, let Mary know and we will only ship and you will only pay shipping on the items you actually want out of each lot. The rest will be considered abandoned by the buyer. The same goes if lot is not marked shippable, but lot contains something you want that could be shipped and rest abandoned. In this case also call Mary to check if can be done, before you bid. Pick up is Friday September 20th 12:30-6:30 p.m. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY . Pick up location is - 800 N Humboldt-Ellinwood, KS.
