Registration: To bid you will need to register and create a user name and password. Do not wait until the last few hours of the auction to register to bid. There is a verification process that may not be completed in time. Wedel Auction nor HiBid will be held responsible if potential bidder misses opportunity to bid. Registration is available 24-7.
Buyers Premium: A 10% buyer's fee will be applied to your invoice total. (Example: if the total for all items purchased is $100.00 the Buyer's Premium applied will be $10.00, your total invoice is $110.00)
Pet Oder. Some of these items may have pet oder. The only vehicals we could noticable it in is the 2008 Grand Marque Mercury car, 1998 Toyota 4X4 pickup, and maybe a little bit in the 1930 Ford Model A. The lots with the greatest risk of pet oder are 11, 12, 17, 250-273, 500-504, 566-629. Come to the open house January 20th and smell for yourself.
There will be a $25.00 title processing fee applied for vehicle titles. Title will be mailed to the buyer via certified mail no sooner than 14 days after receipt of payment, regardless of payment type. Payment: Credit Card on file will be charged following the auction. Purchases over $5,000 must be paid for with wire transfer. Bidder agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a chargeback on his/her credit card.
Due Diligence: Every effort has been made to provide the information, descriptions, and photos that best represent each item in the auction. However, accuracy is not guaranteed and each bidder is responsible for conducting their own independent due diligence concerning items of interest.
Changes to the Auction: To best respond to various circumstances during the auction, changes to specific lots, descriptions, and photos, may become necessary and occur without notice. Lots may be added, combined, or removed without notice.
Soft Closing: At the designated time the auction is set to begin closing, each lot closes in sequential order. If a bid is placed on a lot within 2 minutes of its close two additional minutes will be added. If another bid is placed two more minutes are added until all "dynamic" bids have been placed.
Successful Bidder: If you are the successful bidder, you are responsible to pay for the lot(s) that you have won at the price of your final bid.
Item Pick Up: The auction pickup days are Friday 1-26 and Saturday 1-27 by appointment. You are responsible for the pick-up and removal of all items you have purchased. You will need to present your paid invoice at the time of pick up. If you need assistance with removal, loading, and transporting your items you need to make arrangements before you arrive. The auction company is not available to remove, load, or transport items. Bidder and his or her agents and employees are responsible for any damage they may cause or liability that may attach from any of their actions on or around the auction premises. Bidder agrees that any merchandise not removed by bidder within ten days of the pickup date will be forfeited with no refunds. The exception is lot 187, 559, 701, 702, 703 where the final date to remove the item is listed in the lot description. Bidder shall have no claim to merchandise not removed by the above date.
As a courtesy to the buyer, Wedel Auction will take any items that are available for shipping to the Hidden Closet Bookshelf in McPherson, KS 67062. Buyers will be billed and charged seperately by Hidden Closet Bookshelf for this service. Questions regarding shipping should be directed to hiddenclosetbookshelf@gmail.com or 620-241-6602.

Technical Issues: In the event of technical issues with the online bidding software, Wedel Auction, reserves the right to extend a portion, or the entire auction.
Bidder agrees that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Kansas and hereby grants sole jurisdiction and agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of a court of subject matter jurisdiction located in McPherson County, Kansas. Both parties waive any right to a jury trial and hereby agree to a bench trial before a judge.
