We have had more than one call on this coin. The coin appears to have damage, alteration or marring at the date. We cannot differentiate from another year because weight and composition remain the same for possibly changed years. What we can say is that we do not find the VDB mark at the bottom of Lincoln's shoulder, making it more probable that the coin is genuine. We ask that everyone please look closely for themselves at this particular coin.

From 1944 to 1974, everything is present and correct EXCEPT the 1960 small date is missing. From 1975 to 2005, the P and D mints are present, NONE of the S mints. 2006 and 2007 are D mints only. There is a 1971D coin in the 2006S slot. There are also three odd cents at the bottom of the 1950’s page.

Feature coins are the Jamestown dollar and the Little Rock Central High School desegregation dollar, both commemorative proof and in 90 percent silver. Also included are the proof four presidential dollars, five state quarters, Sacagawea dollar, Kennedy half, dime, nickel and cent. There were only 27,000 legacy sets produced in this year according to U.S. mint.

All of these were in unopened cardboard shipper envelopes. We opened these to verify the coins inside. We did not open the sealed plastic packets. Each packet contains two coins, P and D mint, and are first day coins struck. Each also includes other items, example the Washington includes a 39 cent stamp and Mt. Vernon postmark.

He played goalie for the LA Kings in the 1970’s. There were six different silver plated medallions given away in the 1998-1999 season as the Kings were leaving the Forum, each of past great player. The promo at the time was called "All the Kings Men".
