When the saw is in the vertical position, the workpiece rests on a table while the operator pushes the material through the blade. When the saw is in the horizontal position, the workpiece is clamped to a table and the saw head is lowered to make the cut. Manually operated saws are used in low-volume machine and maintenance shops when similar materials and cuts are made.

* All items paid for, but not picked upo will be given an additional 7 day grace period. If not picked up, shipped, or claimed the item(s) will be forfeited and sold, or donated and considered payment for storage fees.
