Registration-Accounts
All bidders are required to sign up for an account through HiBid, and register for each
auction.
Pre Authorization - We may call you to ask a few questions prior to your approval to
bidding in our auctions due to the commitment we make to our co-signers and
customers.
Bidding Limits - All new accounts will have a bidding limit in place of $250 combined for
auction. In order to get your bidding limit increased please contact us to complete a
simple verification process and have a card placed on file.
Bidding Over Limit - One you bid over your limit you account may be placed on a
temporary hold until the verification process is complete.
Account Info - Bidders name and address must match the name and address on there ID
and/or payment information.
Auction Set Up
We will run 2-3 auctions a month including Cards, Memorabilia & other collectibles.
Generally we will run a memorabilia auction separate from a card auction. All lots will
start between $1 & $20. Auctions will be posted for preview a week prior to auction
opening and auctions will be open for 2-4 weeks.
Lots - All auctions will be comprised of 60 or more lots, each lot will be assigned a
number. Lot numbers will continue in sequence from the previous auction. Example
auction number 1 has 75 lots and will be numbered 1-75. Auction number 2 has 75 lots
and will be numbered 76-150. Any lot with a letter after a number are non bid lots, they
are info lots. If you bid on an info lot and win you will be sent swag items.
Soft Close/Stagger - Our auction will close on a stagger so you never miss a lot. If the
auction is set to close at 7pm, the first lot of the auction will close at 7pm. The next lot
will close 10-15 seconds later. With lots closing every 10-15 seconds until all of the lots
have closed.
Extended Bidding - Any bid made in the last 15 seconds of the lot closing will reset the
clock to 15 seconds, we use extended bidding to help prevent bot snipping.
Preview - Auction preview will be posted one week prior to auction opening.
Info Lots - Any lot that ends with a letter is an info lot and are there to remind you of our
bidding, shipping and other policies. Please do not bid on info lots. If you bid on info lots
and win them you will be sent swag items.
Reserve Pricing
Less than 10% of our lots will have reserve pricing, reserve pricing generally will come
on higher end lots where the reserve will generally be quickly met. Reserves also
usually come from consignment vendors. Reserves will be listed in the description of the
item. As well as be shown on the bid.
Consignment Vendors
We are currently accepting consignment vendors please feel free to email us at
UnderdodBuffalo@gmail.com with the subject line consignment auction. We will be
happy to answer any questions you have as well as send you our consignment vendor
sheet as well as consignment contract.
Shipping/Pick Up
All lots will be automatically placed for shipping unless pick up is requested. Pick up info
for each auction will be posted in that auctions info page. Pick ups will generally be
offered Wednesday evening and Saturday mornings in Williamsville, NY
Cost for shipping - Our base shipping is in the main 48 states, but we do offer shipping
internationally. Category 1: 8x10s, Jerseys, Minis, Baseballs, Lacrosse balls will be
shipped at a rate of $10 for the first and $2.50 each additional item. Category 2:
Footballs, Basketballs, Full Size helmets will be shipped at a rate of $15 for the first and
$5 each additional, Category 1 items can be added into category 2 packages saving the
$10 first fee. Category 3: 11x14 & 16x20s will be shipped at a rate of $15 for the first and
$2 each additional maximum of 4 per shipment, category 3 items can not be combined
with other category items. Category 4: Canvas, framed, fragile will ship at a TBD rate
that will be posted in the items description, Category 4 items can not be combined with
other items when being shipped.Category 5: Cards & Slabs will ship at a rate of $5-$15
based off total amount of cards & slabs, 20 or less raw cards or 3 or less slabs will be at
a rate of $5. Raw and Slabs mixed up to 5 slabs & 40 raw will be at a rate of $10, up to
80 raw cards or 10 slabs will be at a rate of $10, all quantities over will be at a rate of
$15. Cards & Slabs can be combined with category 1 & 2 items. All other items will have
shipping info in description.
International Shipping - Additional rates may apply please contact us for more info
Combined Shipping - We will automatically combine your items shipping cost to save as
much as possible. Shipping discounts will also be offered on larger orders.
Insurance - All packages come with $100 of insurance, additional insurance can be
purchased at a rate of $2 per $100 value.
Signature Confirmation - All invoices over $1,000 will have free signature confirmation. If
you would like to add signature confirmation there is a $5 up charge.
Invoices & Payments
All invoices will be sent to the email on file, please make sure your email on file is
current. Invoice reminders may be sent via email or text message.
HiBid Invoice - you will receive an invoice from HiBid with in 24 hours of the last lot
closing which will include a link to your itemized invoice not including shipping.
Square Invoice - you will receive an invoice from square shortly after with your bid card
number HiBid invoice total, shipping and any additional services you request.
Tax - All invoices will be charged tax at a rate of 8.75% which is the standard rate where
we are located, Erie County, New York. If you have a tax id and would like to go tax
exempt please email us a copy of your exempt form.
Settlement/Payments - All payments must be made within 72 hours of your square
invoice being sent.
Card on File - All accounts that have a card on file will be charged within 72 hours of the
auction ending. If the settlement declines we will retry your card up to 3 times in a 7 day
period. One final attempt will be made at day 14, if this settlement declines your account
will be placed on hold and you will be charged a restocking fee of 30% which will be
attempted on day 15, 21 & 30.
Premiums
Buyers premiums will be 15% on card auctions and 10% on all other auctions. Sellers'
premium will be determined based on the rate the lot sells for.
Second Chance
Second Chance opportunities will be offered through email or text message within 24
hours after the auction ends. Second chance offers will be priced at hammer price plus
premium & tax.
Returns
We do not accept returns on any auction or second chance items. Unless your item is
damaged in transit. If an item is damaged in transit please contact us prior to shipping
the item back so we can start the insurance claim process on your behalf.
