Description
El Chico Cafe in Mountain Home, AR is shutting its doors and has elected to liquidate the restaurant equipment, furniture, utensils, decor, etc. with Sims Family Auctions, through a webcast auction. Online bidding will be open from July 7th through the end of the auction on July 29, starting at 10:00 AM. There will be three ways to place your bids. You can bid online any time; you can bid live in person at the auction on July 29; or you can bid in real time, online, as the live auction is happening. Along with being a webcast auction, it will also be ran on two platforms. All prebids will sync between the two sites as the lot becomes live at the live auction. We would encourage you to make use of the max bid feature before the live auction begins, in case of technical issues as each item sells. If you leave an online bid, you will be kept in at auction until your max bid is surpassed, or until the opposing bidder(s) quit. Online bidders will have a 10% buyers premium, but will be no buyers premium if you are at the live auction bidding in person. There will be a live preview day on July 22, from 10:30-1:30 so that you can see anything you're interested in bidding on. After this date, equipment will be disconnected and ready for new owners to take. We strongly encourage you to attend the preview, if possible. We will describe items to the best of our ability and knowledge, and will try to take great pictures to answer all your questions. There will be four opportunities to pick up your items. At the conclusion of the live auction, when your items are paid for, they are yours to take. The next will be on July 30 from 8:00-12:00. July 31 from 10:00-2:00. August 1 from 4:00-7:00. We will accept cash, card (4% fee), check, or wire transfer. On larger purchases, we would ask for a bank letter certifying funds on checks. Winning bidders will be responsible for removal of their won lots. Some lots will be extremely heavy, and may require special tools or equipment to remove. Some booths are freestanding, and some are attached and will need to be removed. Please be prepared for this, as tools and movers will not be available from auction company or seller.
10% buyers premium for winning online bidders. No sales tax will be charged. Cash, cards, checks, or wire transfer will be accepted. Cards will have a 4% fee added. Winning bidders will receive an invoice after the auction has concluded, and will have the option of paying with credit card from the payable link found in the invoice. Online bidders should consider using the max bid feature in case of technical or platform issues during the auction. This will be a simulcast auction with pre-bidding offered. In short, you can bid before the auction and check back to see if you won later. You can bid before the auction, and also follow along online as the auction takes place and submit bids in live time. You don't have to prebid at all, and can still bid in live time online as the auction happens, or you can come to the live auction and bid. In the event of a tie bid between the two online platforms, the tie goes to the bidder from www.simsfamilyauctions.com. No items are warrantied by auction company, or seller. All items are bought as is. Please attend the live preview, or feel free to ask questions before bidding. We will work hard to make sure you are comfortable with your bids. Some items, such as TV's may be used during live auction and removal won't happen until the live auction is over. Bidding at the live auction will follow the increment schedule listed online. You are responsible for loading and transporting your won lots.
Your bid must adhere to the bid increment schedule.
