Representing the only game sports icon Red Grange played for the Green Bay Packers, this original and extremely rare program hails from the memorable January 22, 1933 exhibition between the Packers and Ernie Nevers' Pacific Coast All Stars. One of only a handful of artifacts from the game that took place at San Francisco's Kezar Stadium, the completely intact publication displays superbly and it features Grange's name on the Packers' roster twice in the interior. Program exhibits EX quality. That’s right, you read it correctly, Red Grange playing for the archrival Green Bay Packers in 1933, the same year he was the defensive hero of the NFL Championship Game for “Papa Bear” Halas! Offered here is a truly unique Knights of Columbus Official Game Program from January 22, 1933. This tilt features the Green Bay Packers with guest player Red Grange and coached by “Curley” Lambeau against Ernie Nevers’ Pacific Coast All-Americans. The game was held at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco and is the only game that the Galloping Ghost ever played for the Pack. This program features captivating full-page action shots of Grange and Nevers, as well as team photos that picture Football Hall of Famers Cal Hubbard, Clark Hinkle, and Mel Hein. A scarce twenty page football treasure that measures approximately 8” x 11”, and is packed with great advertisements and historical football graphics.
