Method of Payment: All purchases must be paid in full by Check, Cash, Visa, Discover, or Master Card. A 15% buyer's premium will be charged to all purchases, and an 18% buyer's premium will be charged to all purchases using a credit card. Payments not received by the final pickup time will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.
Condition of Items: All items are being sold "As-Is, Where-Is" with no warranty being expressed or implied by the Auction Company or the Seller.
Firearms: The Steffen Group do not warrant that you may legally purchase, resale, own or use specific products offered for sale at our auction. Local laws are constantly changing, it is your responsibility to investigate the products you wish to purchase and verify that they are not prohibited by any State or Local ordinances in your area before bidding. This auction is considered an estate-style auction, and The Steffen Group is acting as an agent for the seller. Must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a long gun, and 21 years of age or older to purchase a hand gun. The revolver will be taken to an FFL dealer to complete the transfer. Buyer shall pay a $35 dollar transfer fee by FFL for each transfer, and buyer is responsible for any additional fees, shipping, and handling for out of state purchasers. The revolver will be delivered to the FFL Dealer on the morning of Monday, April 22, 2024. The original purchase of the gun must be paid for at the auction site first and then pickup will be available after 12:00 noon on April 22nd. The FFL Dealer for this auction will be Freedom Firearms which is located at 1525 Directors Row, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Removal: Items may be picked up on Monday, June 24th, BY APPOINTMENT from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Steffen Group Auction Gallery Location located at 102 South Jefferson in Ossian, Indiana. Any items not removed within this time frame will be forfeited by the Buyer, may be resold, and any cost of removal, deficiency, or loss may be charged to the Buyer. Your stamped paid receipt must be shown to checkout supervision prior to removal. Although checkout supervision will be provided, the auction company and sellers are not liable for lost or stolen items purchased at the sale. Buyers are responsible for all risk of loss, property damage, personal injury caused by removal, and all costs of removal of items/lots purchased. Moving & loading services contracted with any rigging or moving company are independent of the Auctioneer, and the Auctioneer shall be held harmless from any claims arising between the buyer and said company.
Shipping: Shipping will be available for small items in-house through Shipping Saint. Large items will be shipped using More Than Mail, Pak Mail or Similar. All costs associated with shipping, including boxes, materials, and handling, will be paid by the Buyer. A $5 handling fee is added for a small, single auction lot and an additional fee for additional lots or an auction lot with bulk items. For questions regarding shipping, contact the Auctioneer prior to the closing day of the auction. The items will be packed, and then an invoice will be sent for payment through Shipping Saint. If damage does occur, we insure every package. All claims will need to be filed through Shipping Saint or the Outside Shipping Company.
