Portrait of Georg Roggenbach; half-length, three-quarter face to right; window in the right background with view on the exterior landscape; on the wall at upper left, a coat of arms with a helmet (Stechhelm); first state. Signed and dated below on the ledge: 1554 ANNO AETATIS SVE XXXVIII HSL. Hanns Lautensack (1524 – c. 1560) was a German etcher and draughtsman. Condition: Very good appearance. We have not examined outside of the frame. Art size approximately 14 x 9.25 in. Provenance: From the estate of a private collector. There is another like it online for sale right now for $3000.
