Description
1964-D Kennedy Silver Half First Day of Issue, Discovery Bag NGC MS-65. Population census has this one at 136 with only 4 finer. Most were graded Brilliant Uncirculated and not given a numerical grade. Provenance from a bag dated March 19, 1964, five days before the coins official release. Sold by telemarketers for over $400, and still selling them at that price for ones marked BU, as this one is actually graded MS-65. The hand signed certificate is missing.
