It was an upgrade to the World War Willys MB jeep, featuring a stronger frame and suspension, a waterproof 24-volt electrical system, and a sealed vent system. The M38 could also be driven submerged. this Jeep has been repainted and garage kept being sold as is able to turn on electrical works unable to turn over.
