Lead 1934 Federal Bus
Description
Location: Melbourne Year: 1934 Make: Federal Model: B-15 Engine Type: 6 Cylinder Transmission: Manual Odometer Reading: 35518 Miles Showing Body Type: Bus VIN / Chassis: 79757 Engine Number: AR901900 Exterior Colour: Cream Interior Colour: Green Being offered on an UNRESERVED basis. Stunning time piece of yesteryear. Running a 6 cylinder side valve Hercules petrol engine, 4 speed manual transmission and a Cheetham & Bothwick Of Melbourne body. Attractive cream and green colour combination. Currently on Victorian club registration (sold unregistered). Owners notes: Purchased by the seller in 2002 as a barn find but still registered. Some work had been carried out to the bus to convert it to a mobile home. The seller purchased the vehicle with the intension to utilise it as a chauffeur driven hire vehicle for weddings and winery tours. Work progressed on this basis. Extensive body and mechanical work carried out by the owner but mostly professional establishments. Receipts provided adding up to tens of thousands. Due to a change in Victorian licencing conditions at the time and a change in living circumstances plans to hire the bus never materialised. It was placed on a club permit after a full roadworthy inspection and it has been used sparingly since. Photo records of restoration go with the bus. This vehicle is located at our facility at 4 Market Drive Bayswater, Melbourne for further information please contact Jason Todd 0400 321 919. To protect your investment vehicle bidders should consider at a minimum replacement of fuel, oil, fluids, filters and thorough brake inspection as vehicles may have been stationary for some time. Vehicles are sold as is off the floor – unregistered. Please check photos carefully for vehicle condition. No warranty expressed or implied, sold with all or any faults, and where applicable sold with Australian Government Import Approval. GEM09
