Hibid will be taking Absentee Bids ONLY for this Auction. There is NO LIVE BIDDING from this site for this Auction. If you would like to Bid Live, you will need to either attend the Auction Personally, or bid via www.liveauctioneers.com or www.invaluable.com. Online Absentee Bidding on Hibid Cuts off at 10:30 AM Central Time on Auction Day. Absentee bids are accepted by Direct Auction Galleries as a convenience for our bidders, but is not foolproof, and is not guaranteed. Because this is an absentee bid, it is subject to human error, as the auctioneer must recognize your bid from his computer during the bidding process. There is a chance, however slight, that your absentee bid could be missed by the auctioneer. Direct Auction Galleries is not responsible for missed or overlooked absentee bids. If an item is very important to you, we urge you to take the time to attend the auction in person, get the auctioneer's attention, and hold your bid card up high until you are declared the winner of the item. In the case of Two Equal Absentee Bids, the Absentee Bid that is Entered into the Auction Program First will be the Winner - Therefore, it is recommended that you leave absentee bids online and EARLY, if possible. In the Case of an Absentee Bid and a Live Floor Bid, the Floor bid will take Precedence. All Absentee Bids will compete against Live Floor Bids, Left Bids, and Live Online and Absentee Bids on other Platforms to Determine the Winning Bidder of Each Lot. Just because you are the winning bidder on hibid at 10:30 AM on Auction Day does NOT mean you will be the ultimate winner of the lot, as the piece has to go up at auction, and beat out all live bids in the crowd and all online bids on other auction platforms. All Merchandise is Sold As Is / Where Is, without warranty or guarantee of any kind. All sales are final. No Refunds. Items must be paid for within 7 days of the auction, or else you may lose some or all of your items, and receive a bad mark on your reputation score. It is your responsibility to phone us at 773-465-3300 to pay for your items. Direct Auction Galleries shall not be responsible for the correct description, genuineness, authenticity of, suitability of, or defect in any lot. Bidder Inspection is encouraged. By placing a bid, the bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. Direct Auction Galleries reserves the right to reject any bid or bidder at its discretion. In the event of a discrepancy, technical glitch, missed bid, missed absentee bid, or any other circumstance, the auctioneer's decision on who is the winning bidder is final. Direct Auction Galleries shall not be held responsible for missed bids, internet outages, or anything else that might cause a bidder (internet, absentee or live bidding) to lose an item at auction. Direct Auction Galleries reserves the right to cancel and/or reopen the auction in the case of system failures, or for any other reason. Some items may have reserves, and, as such, the auctioneer has the right to bid on the seller's behalf.
