On October 15, 2024, our family lost our precious granddaughter, Kayleigh, at 20 weeks after her mommy was diagnosed with spinal meningitis and quickly became septic. During what should have been a routine ultrasound, she watched Kayleigh’s heart stop beating—a moment that changed our family forever. Watching my daughter endure such unimaginable heartbreak is something no parent should ever have to witness. Through the incredible generosity of family, friends, and donations, we were able to raise enough to cover Kayleigh’s funeral expenses and half the cost of her headstone. We are now holding this benefit auction to help raise the remaining funds for a beautiful headstone that will honor Kayleigh’s memory and give her the resting place she deserves.
