Filling out 4473 early does not mean pre approval status. You will be notified of days and times for picking up purchases after minimum state required 72 hour waiting period. Form 4473 must be filled out in person. Shipping: General Auction Gun Sales/Bauer Auction Service, LLC will not assume that you need your purchases shipped. Upon close of auction, we email unpaid invoice to the email address on registration file. To initiate the shipping process, respond to that email with your request for shipping, notify us of method of payment (check or wire transfer) and provide a copy of the FFL we are to ship to. Firearms that are being shipped must be paid for with a mailed in payment or bank transfer. Mailed in payments can be personal check/business check/ cashier's check/ money order/ postal money order. There is a 10-business day hold on all mailed in payments. Credit card payments will NOT be accepted for firearms that are shipped. Payment is required prior to shipping being computed. Firearms are paid for then sent to our inhouse shipping department. Shipping guns is not a high priority immediately after the auction is over. If you require shipping it could be 2 to 3 weeks after the auction before the guns are shipped. Our shipping department is happy to use your FedEx/UPS account. Buyer is still responsible for applicable handling fees. If buyer chooses to ship with prepaid label Bauer Auction Service, LLC/General Auction Gun Sales is not responsible for damaged or lost packages. It is the buyer's responsibility to account for adequate insurance. Submit FFLs to ffl@bauerauction.com Shipping charges for guns within the continental U.S. are non-negotiable and are as follows: Firearms ship via UPS or USPS, typically whichever is most cost effective. If you have a carrier preference or your FFL requires the use of a specific carrier, you must notify Bauer Auction Service of this when you provide your FFL for shipment. Buyer will pay actual postage plus insurance, signature confirmation and handling fees. Postage is determined by weight & size of package. Handling Fees are also non-negotiable and are as follows: Long Guns $30.00 per gun Insurance is required on every package. Fees are determined by carrier guidelines based on value of package.
