This Alexandria auction includes a nice selection of curated relics that have been used to decorate and furnish what is reportedly the oldest structure in Madison County (Indiana). Created from massive local timbers, the family used this log cabin as a "Weekend Retreat" and hosted several family and private parties on the property! Many of the items have acquired patina and character after several years of "non-use" and may require minor repair, gentle cleaning or a "day-in-the-sun" to bring them back-to-life. The barn also sports a storied past and has some great character and desirable lumber that could easily be repurposed. Check out the Stall Doors, Siding, Cabinets, along with the Hay Loft that was created from the dance floor of a local establishment razed long ago.
