Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, NE is offering 800 bales of CRP up for auction. All bales are estimated to be around 1300lbs each and located 10-12 Miles SW of Wellfleet, NE or 10-12 Miles Northwest of Maywood, NE. Hay will be sold by the ton. Buyer will pay 50% down at the conclusion of the auction based on the price per ton bid, the number of bales and using a weight of 1300 lbs/bale. The balance will be paid when hay is picked up and weighed on a certified scale within 50 miles of the field. Buyer will provide weight tickets to Old West Realty & Auction. Hay must be removed and paid in full by December 28, 2018. Buyer is responsible for providing loader and trucking for removal of hay. Lot #1 - 7 - These lots consist of CRP hay that has been cut twice in the last 2 years. This cutting was cut and baled in August of 2018. There will be 350 bales total in these lots and broken down as follows. Lot # 1 - 90 Bales Lot # 2 - 90 Bales Lot # 3 - 90 Bales Lot # 4 - 20 Bales Lot # 5 - 20 Bales Lot # 6 - 20 Bales Lot # 7 - 20 Bales Lot # 8-14 - These lots consist of CRP hay that was cut for the first time in 2018. This cutting was cut and baled in August of 2018.
