The auction will begin soft close at 6:30 PM on MONDAY, November 11th. The items will then begin to close staggered at 18 second intervals for about the next two hours.
Auctions are weekly out of Windsor, Ontario, with both shipping and pick up option from Windsor, Ontario. Pick-up is available once the purchase invoice and pick-up details have been sent by e-mail and a pick-up timeslot is scheduled by the customer through our online scheduling software. Please note these are retailer returns, overstock, and discontinued items from many major retailers. We do our best to check the condition and rate it and verify parts/overall functionality. Many items are brand new, demo models or slightly used, however we do not guarantee that all parts are there and that the items are in perfect or working condition and all sales are as-is. Please bid with this in mind. The condition categories we go by are as follows based on visual checks:
RETAIL: Item is visually brand new and is considered retail grade. Please note that the item inside could be retail ready, but if the packaging has minor imperfections we will do our best to declare those.
NEW: Item is in visually new condition, has all of its parts and has no signs of use. The item may or may not have been taken out of its original box. The item may or may not have been handled or been out for retailer display.
DEMO (LIKE NEW): Item may or may not have been used. It may or may not have small marks or dust particles from being touched or handled. It may or may not have its original box. If it has been used, then the item is is most likely in visually "like new" condition (at the very least it is in "excellent used condition").
USED: Item functions as it is intended to but it shows that it has been under long term use. Any parts that are missing will be declared to the best of our knowledge. It could have signs of wear and likely has been very gently used. Descriptions will be provided if we have notes and to the best of our ability, such as missing bolt, minor handling, moderate handling, cracked lid, etc.
SALVAGE: This includes items that need anything from minor to major repairs. This also includes items where repairs may not be possible and can only be used for parts. The retail value for these items is listed as $0. All salvage items are sold As-Is with no option for returns. No exceptions.
AS-IS: Anything sold as-is has no option for returns. No exceptions.
Payment methods include online payment (only debit, VISA/Mastercard), electronic money transfer or Cash. Debit/credit machine is available for in person pickups. All purchases are in Canadian dollars (CAD$) and are subject to a 16.5% buyers premium and 13% HST.
**PLEASE NOTE: Online payment or in store purchases by debit or credit card is subject to a 3% processing fee.
Pickup must be within 5 days of the auction closing date. Any invoices not picked up within the timeframe may be subject to a storage fee of $5/day. AuctionHaeus and Liquidation Centre reserves the right to retain any items that are associated to invoices which have not been paid within the 5 business days. In the event that we cancel an invoices you will be charged a 16.5% cancellation fee, with a minimum $5. Any invoices and/or fees that are overdue by at least 10 business days may be sent to a third party collection service.
Those requiring shipping: please specify so in your registration form. Further instructions will follow as part of your invoice. We pack/ship by the following Thursday. You will have to pay your invoice first and you will receive a shipping estimate by the following Thursday. You may also request the dimensions and weight to arrange for your own shipping. Please note all shipping invoices will have a $5 handling fee added. This handling fee will NOT be removed even in the event that you choose to pick up instead.
Return and Exchange Policy:
AuctionHaeus sells all items "As-is, where is", meaning the item you purchase is sold in its current state where it is. We ONLY accept returns if the item does not work as described and if an exchange is unavailable. Items that have declared imperfections, missing parts, problems etc. are sold as-is with no return or exchange options whatsoever. Any return/exchange must be authorized by management and product must be brought back or shipped back to our Windsor, ON warehouse at the buyer's cost within 3 business days from authorization. A return request must be sent within 2 days from pick up date or within 5 business days from the auction closing date, whichever is sooner. Those who have their invoice(s) shipped to them must send any return requests within 24 hours of package delivery confirmation. Any authorized returns are given back in the form of auction credit. NO EXCEPTIONS.
All items specifically listed as "AS-IS" condition can not be returned for a credit or returned for any reason. Refunds and credits are at the sole discretion of the auctioneer. All advertised memberships/promotions/exclusives/warranties etc. may not be intact nor honoured by the manufacturer/distributor. Lack of the forementioned is not a valid reason for return.
The auctioneer reserves the right to adjust the date of closing and/or adjust the final sale of any given auction or lot. The auctioneer also reserves the right to cancel any invoices for any reason.
