Seller: Moises Villa Carrillo Division: Las Plumas FFA Project: Octagon BBQ Place: 3rd Place Dear Potential Buyer, My Name is Moises VillaCarrillo. I am 16 years old and am going into my senior year at Las Plumas High School. I have been a member of the Las Plumas FFA Chapter for 3 years but this is my first time showing. Outside of school I enjoy working on fabrication projects at home and improving my welding skills. The Butte County fair has introduced a Still Auction into this year's fair allowing students to sell fabrication projects of numerous categories.My project is a large charcoal grill made of 3/16 inch thick sheet metal. It is 36 inches in length and around 19 ½ inches in circumference. I have been working on my project for about 5 months. Overall I have invested about $600 into this project. I would like to personally invite you out to the Butte County Fair. The fair begins on August 20th and the auction will be held on August 24 starting at 9am. The still project will be sold in two areas. If my project is placed in the top two overall it will be sold during the live auction on the 24th and on bidcal.com. If it is not in the top two then it will be for sale on bidcal.com starting August 19h and closing on August 25th. I will do my best to inform you of where my project will be sold once I know where it has been placed. If you choose to attend the live auction on the 24th the fair is hosting a Buyer’s breakfast starting at 8am.
